Froggy's Saloon — Restaurant in Daytona Beach

Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had at a bar...I bought a round for me and my lady....played a game of pool with my group. Went back for another round and to close the tab and grab the debit card so we can leave.... Bartender got us the 2nd round...went and handled everyone else she was working...which is understandable...this is where it gets sideways....she asked us..hey what can I get for you? ...I was befuddled...and replied...I'd just like my card n pay you love...I think I said that 8 minutes ago... This blonde bartender with an attitude who had obviously been drinking or Poppin pills because she was slurring...than proceeded to try and make fun of me...called me names and tried to belittle me in front of the whole bar while acting like it's my fault she simply forgot who we even were standing at the counter...the security and the bartender were yelling at us to come back inside and fight....as a local here in Daytona..I was completely appalled by this behavior...as this is not my first and wasn't going to be my last time here...but I will never be referring tourists from our establishment...or ever stepping foot into an place as low as...

The worst ever! I walk in the bar during bike week and was harassed. I was wearing a shirt and on the back it had a picture of the Law Enforcement Memorial but underneath it had the letters MC. The shirt was from one of my clubs chapter memorial run. We are a Law Enforcement Motor Cycle Club and I personally have 20+ years on the job. I was standing at the outside bar DRINKING WATER when the "head" bouncer (or so he said Brian) called all his cronies over to observe us. This was not the problem, the problem was he started shooting a laser on my back. I guess this was in an effort to identify me since I had MC on my back. Had he taking the time just to read the back of my shirt he could have seen we were LEO's. He is lucky we were cops because if that idiot had done that to a 1%er he (and his cronies) would have had there asses handed to them at the very least or even possibly shot. If you are going to hire bouncers for bike week don't hire obnoxious kids who are either going to get themselves or someone else hurt!! Those guys were extremely lucky they walked out of there unscathed. Time to clean...

I will give 3 stars because the employees are nice. The customers on the other hand... some of them are older Daytona residents that have been locals for a long time, and most of them are decent. But then you have those certain people (some from out of town) that will strike up a conversation with you just to eventually start to belittle you. You have to beware of these types of people because they’re looking for an opportunity to bring someone down with them. This is the only reason I would advise staying at home and drinking or not drinking at all. The good people you meet are not worth the ones that wanna bring you down... and trust me they will try to bring you down and get their friends to gang up on you as well.
