Giovanni's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Daytona Beach

Do not waste your time ordering here. The food is awful and the service is even. worse. We ordered a pizza at 6:41 pm and was told it would arrive in 55 minutes. After an hour and five minutes we called and they said, "it's on the way". We then received a call 10 minutes later asking which hotel we were at. I again told them which one (I had told them when I called). The caller informed me the driver was on his way (the restaurant is less than 5 minutes from our hotel). It did not arrive so I called back 15 minutes later and was told, "it's on the way"….well we finally got our cold pizza and wings with our hot cokes at 8:20...1 hour and 54 minutes after we ordered. I called the restaurant back to speak with the manager, he was very rude. He said, "we don't guarantee a delivery time"…..which I understand……however they did say it would be there in 55 minutes. Also I was told numerous times that it was "on the way" Then I explained that the pizza was cold and my drinks were hot. He got an attitude with me and was unapologetic. I said, "that's fine I will just write a yelp and Google review" His reply, "I don't care" They probably get a lot of business from the vacationers, but you still should not have that attitude. We have Giovanni's in our hometown and I will think twice before...

I ordered thru the website and it ended up being thru a 3rd party company. The food is OVER PRICED for the taste.

I would not recommend ordering from this location and due to it being Daytona, there are many other places you can eat at. The food was delivered missing toppings, supposed to be 3 toppings, the wings were DRY, The cheesy bread was cold. Overall not a good deal or bang for your buck. I called and complained and they offered a 20% refund and I accepted that and even though that is what was offered I wouldn’t have ever received my $7.00 tip back and that would have remained a loss, even if I had drove the food back to them. They care a whole lots more then themselves then the customer getting a good meal to eat in my opinion.

If maybe the food was served with better ingredients, with order accuracy and with way more customer service, this place would be best suited for its location. I think they should...
