Nathan’s Famous — Restaurant in Daytona Beach

im not sure how anyone could give this place a 5 star with the quality of food being served. my family of 4 went to Nathan’s today, having tried Nathan’s 11 years ago in Coney Island we were so excited for this location to open in Daytona. we all 4 ordered hotdog combo’s with toppings. they charged us almost $20 A MEAL!!! i know inflation has skyrocketed prices, but a pack of Nathan’s hotdog’s are $6 at grocery stores. it seems absolutely INSANE to charge that much money! it’s not even a big hot dog!! go to costco and get a $1.50 hot dog & a drink and you’ll be much happier you didnt spend $20 on a hot dog that had stale bread, and a weirdly cooked hot dog that seemed like it was microwaved. they forgot our toppings so we had to go back and ask for them, and i can completely understand that they just opened, the positive thing was the cashier was very friendly, however the manager didnt really try to help or give us anything but a credit for 2 hot dogs because we threw all our food away but it was disgusting and you could probably feel the bread in the back and know its stale and the hotdogs were DEFINITELY not cooked correctly. “we just opened” isnt an excuse to taste absolutely horrible when there was nobody else there.. plus we spent $80 on 4 hotdog meals, you think it’d be gourmet!!!! the tables outside werent even clean and they have a HUGE bump on their patio door thats extremely dangerous my mom and i both tripped over it and there is no sign or anything indicating its there. lets not forget!! there is NO PARKING UNLESS YOU ARE A VOLUSIA COUNTY RESIDENT!! IT IS $20 TO PARK THERE IF YOU WANT TO EAT! to spend $80 on hotdogs and it not even be good is insane. plus $20 parking....

Hate the soil the name of a great hot dog company, but ordering from this location has been the most disappointing food experience I've had in a while, just wanted what looked like a basic, but tasty looking, chicken sandwich, instead I got a dry and overcooked, single, patty. They're advertising a double, so right out of the gate I got a bait and switch there, not to mention the disastrously gross idea of throwing cole slaw on it, they should really mention that as I would've known to just not order it. good luck trying to call the store with questions as their listed number is wrong, finally found the correct number only to get hung up on the moment they answe. I placed an order and paid $40 on the Nathan’s website Sunday 8/31, just before 5pm. Their stated closing time is 6pm. We arrived at 5:10pm to wait for our order, however, the doors were locked and no one was inside.

I called the phone number listed here on Google but it’s not in service. I ended up having to chat with Nathan’s customer service to have the order canceled. And was told it would take up to 2 business days to receive my money back. Left with 2...
