Last fall I went here and had a bad experience waiting a long time to just get a black coffee. The staff at that time seem to not care too much about the customers. I decided to give this Biggby location another try today. I walked into the store and no staff was present for about 5 minutes. A young lady finally came to the counter and I asked if they had the $1.99 ice coffee special, she said yes. I asked for a large with a shot of espresso. The total came to $4.02 and I questioned her about the charge. She showed me the receipt and it was for a regular priced large ice coffee (no espresso). I said to her that she said they had the special and I also mentioned the extra shot of espresso. She said I needed a coupon and said nothing about the espresso. I told her that I have no coupon and I just wanted a refund. She had to get another lady who did not know how to process the refund. The owner finally came and provided me with a refund. This took about 15 minutes of my time and I ended up with no coffee, no apologies and just overall disappointment in Biggby. Read moreThis location is close to our house and we are loyal customers. We have always enjoyed the staff and the convenient location. Biggby corporate and local coupons come regularly in the mail and by text so the kids and I go to Biggby a lot when we're out and about, but this location was our favorite. HOWEVER. A shift manager just told me that "coupons are not working" and "no longer accepted" here. They always worked before now, and they still work everywhere else. The manager said that this is according to the proprietor of this location. I don't believe this, and I'm disappointed that the proprietor has chosen to be shady about this and pretend that these things "just don't work," leaving it up to staff to blindside people. Now my kids and I will just go farther for our treats, which is a bummer because we enjoyed the short 15 minute walk here. That's okay though, because I don't want to do business with a place that pulls this bait and switch. I don't want to do business with a proprietor who puts employees in this awkward position. And finally, they clearly don't think of the fact that they're going to cause other Biggby locations to lose business because of this. So I hope...
Read morethe new owner is horrible, we want the old ones back! sue, (the lady) OVERCHARGED my coworkers credit card and they held her money and over drafted her account ( it cost my coworker 30 dollars) SUE told me and my friend she could have a free drink even once her money is refunded. took two weeks and went to cash in on the free drink and the owner accused me of lieing ( in front of others)saying i had already gotten the free drink when i never did. the gentleman who is part owner seems good, but never see him there. it's so sad because i went there every single day on lunch break for 18 months and to see such an awesome place go so down hill, breaks my heart. working for the neighborhood ford dealer, we give them ALOT of business, but with such an excellent Bigby right up the road in dearborn heights, i promise that i will see to it that everyone i talk to knows NOT to go there. Sue is very rude, unprofessional and inexperienced. GO SEE MAHER IN DEARBORN HEIGHTS ON FORD ROAD! i will be calling corporate. the only reason i gave it a star was so...
