Glide Pizza — Restaurant in Decatur

We love this pizza! And me and my wife don't often agree on pizza 🤪 I will say, we generally end up here after brewery hopping and then realizing we're hungry but not ready to quit. So it's perfect as it's located inside Inner Voice Brewing. We generally split a Cesar salad (simple but oh so perfect) and then either order a whole pie so we have leftovers or a couple of slices. Our toddler- loves it. He loves pepperoni pizza with the pepperoni's removed. And no you can not order him a slice of cheese. He'll know - we've tried. I think his favorite part is holding it folded like the adults do 😉 This year we learned about (what I'm going to be forever calling) Glide Holiday Pizza Day! They take ALL the sales (not net profit) for the day and split it between the employees! I can't think of a better way to provide your small business staff with a little holiday bonus when it might be almost otherwise impossible to provide them something extra. So of course we ordered to go a couple of pies and left a nice tip. And will forever plan to make sure we order pizza for dinner on "Glide Holiday Pizza Day"! Oh, and you MUST get at least a side of ranch... must. I'm not normally a pizza dipped in ranch person, but they make the combo too enticing not to. And the employees , gems. Everyone we've ever encountered has been so friendly...

I ordered my pizza 30 minutes before arriving and it wasn’t ready when I got there - no big deal. I tell the worker that I’m going to sit down and wait. I patiently wait 25 min later I still haven’t heard my name called. I ask Katie to check on my food and she says “Oh yeah I put your pizza in the warmer!” I’ve been sitting here for 25 min waiting and she never called my name out. They were not that busy either. The pizza was cold and the worker was very unapologetic and just shrugged her shoulders saying “sorry”. No customer service. No attempt to remedy the situation or truly show compassion about making a customer sit and wait 25 min and handing them a cold $40 pizza. They also could not give me a refund on the spot. They told me I had to wait for their manager to refund it in a few days. They gave me the manager’s phone number and of course he didn’t answer the phone. Very sketchy. Avoid this place. Strange business practices, no customer service, and they have no pride in...

Nestled in one of the best breweries in town, this location of Glide pizza is my favorite. First of all, let’s talk about that crispy delicious pizza. It’s so flavorful, and they have a good rotation of toppings on their single slices. Probably the best NY style pizza in Atlanta. Next, let’s talk about the ranch. This stuff is house-made and will leave you wondering why it hasn’t always been in your life. Like mana from the heavens, it’s sure to elevate anyone’s pizza experience. It’s also truly wonderful when they make it orange for Halloween. Glide, please share the recipe or let me purchase it by the vat. Thank you.

The atmosphere of inner voice (where this glide is located) is fantastic. It’s got some PNW vibes and overall is both kid friendly inside and outside as well as dog friendly outside.
