Table for 2 for Lunch As I got closer I noticed plenty of free shared parking was available, and I easily found a spot just a short walk from the restaurant. As I approached, I noticed outdoor seating and decided to wait near the entrance for my friend to arrive. The steady stream of customers suggested it was a popular place for takeout as well. When my friend showed up, we had a quick chat about whether to dine inside or out. I was leaning toward sitting outside (of course), and thankfully, he agreed. Although the day was a little gloomy and some sunshine would’ve been nice, we opted for the patio. The indoor dining area looked a little dark anyway. We were seated promptly and handed menus. Our server, Lukas, came by shortly after to take our drink order—we kept it simple with a couple of waters—and then started checking the extensive menu. What makes this place stand out is its variety: Japanese, Chinese, and Thai dishes all in one spot. On this visit, we were definitely focused on the Thai options. While they offered a few lunch specials, I was a little disappointed that the Massaman curry wasn’t included. I went with the Panang curry with chicken instead, while my friend chose the chicken Pad Thai. My friend asked if some added spice could be added to his order and he advised he would mention it to the kitchen. The food arrived pretty quickly (under 15 minutes) —which gave us a chance to catch up while we waited. The lunch special also came with a choice of soup or salad; we both chose the ginger salad, which arrived with a spring roll on the side. Lukas, our server, was clearly busy but remained friendly and helpful throughout. My friend's meal didn’t turn out particularly spicy, but he still really enjoyed it. I was happy with my Panang curry too—great flavor and a generous portion for a lunch special. I’ve driven past this place many times, but this was my first visit. Now that I’ve tried it, I’ll definitely be back—especially since it’s located in one of my favorite areas of town.

We stumbled upon this place by accident. My sister walked around while I was in CVS. We had plans to eat elsewhere, but for her, Thai food trumps any other cuisine. I'm so glad we chose this place! We sat outside b/c the weather we absolutely gorgeous! The place wasn't too busy however, the service was a tad bit slow. We started w/ spring rolls and crab rangoon. The spring rolls were really small, and I only got 3. At that size, the order should be at least 4 or 5. The crab rangoon was crispy, full of cream cheese, and piping hot. The crab flavor was really lacking, but it was still very good. We both ordered the "Create Your Own Bowl." I got red curry, Sis got the mushroom broth, and an order of Thai fried rice. Our noodle dishes came out, and we were not expecting the massive bowl presented! There was no way to eat all of it in one sitting! The red curry was delicious, creamy, and spiced to perfection. The ramen noodles had a nice chew and paired very well w/the shimp and curry sauce. I would have preferred to have the option of more than 3 veggies, so I had to make some tough decisions. Our fried rice took forever coming out, but we were told the Thai side of the kitchen was busier and had more orders. All-in-all, this was an amazing dining experience and will definitely be on our go-to list during our next visit to the area. We left full, satisfied, and happy!

Yesterday, my friend and I visited Green Ginger expecting a relaxing meal, but unfortunately, our experience was far from enjoyable. From the start, our server seemed flustered and stressed, mentioning he was the only person working the floor. While I understand being short-staffed can be difficult, the restaurant was not busy at all only a few occupied tables. Despite that, every time we tried to add to our order, he walked away quickly, rolled his eyes, and responded in a way that made us feel like we were a burden rather than welcomed customers. When the owner brought out my food, it was not what I had ordered. Instead of simply exchanging it, he insisted on explaining the difference between nigiri and sashimi sushi, even after I politely repeated that I understood but wanted the item I originally requested. His tone and expression made me feel dismissed, as though my request was unreasonable. Overall, the atmosphere from both the server and the owner left us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. We even considered leaving mid-meal. For a bill of $83, the service and attitude we received were disappointing, and unfortunately, it’s not a place we’ll be returning to.

Calamari was full of salt. The sauce for the calamari was extremely thick. The Sizzling Seafood under the Thai was horrible! This was my first time coming into this restaurant and it was atrocious. It's terrible! I told the waiter that I didn't like the food and she just looked at me with no response. The curry was as if they took a few pieces of seafood, along with an extreme amount of mixed bell peppers and a sampling of tiny corn and then toss a bag full of curry on top of it and served it. This could NOT have been prepared by a trained chef. It indicated that this was a spicy dish on the menu yet there was NOTHING spicy about this dish - period. I don't know if they had some high school teenagers in the back fixing the food, but I know I will never go to this restaurant again. I love great food, and as a foodie, I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone -- including my dog -- period.

You can look at my many reviews of other establishments and it is rare that I give a place a bad review because I try to be diligent about researching establishment before I go. This was a business meeting and I was invited by someone who had previous great experience at the restaurant. Even he said the food was bad and not what he was served in the past.

The ambience was nice. The location nice. The interior nice. The server "clueless". The...
