Guild+Journeyman may be one of the Atlanta area’s most unique and memorable shops, boasting excellent coffee, bicycle services by a seasoned mechanic and a Lego-filled window for infinite play, but to me, it feels like a haven and a hug. I stumbled into Guild+Journeyman by accident, while taking a walk during an oil change, and I proceeded to talk to one of the owners and the bike mechanic for three hours straight. My car was ready long before I was. Guild+Journeyman is super young-family-friendly — a rare find for coffee shops around here. I’ve seen the business owner offer to hold fussy babies multiple times so parents can relax and enjoy. The layout of the shop is constantly changing, and the events and offerings continue to grow. It’s a wonderful place to work, hang out with friends and family and meet neat people. I’ve met a donut shop owner, an artist and anthropologist, a farmer and an author here. My little one was able to play with Duplos and engage with other children while we were there, while I was able to enjoy a cup of coffee and look around.
They have sofas, board games for all ages, and a puzzle table on the coffee shop side of things, and cycling accessories and a workshop on the other side of the shop.
I will be back! It was lovely to hang at a kid friendly coffee shop with such...

The friendly greeting we received set the tone for a great experience. The staff at the counter answered all our questions and helped us make our final decisions. Wifey ordered an Americano and I went for a Chai Latte. We both enjoyed our drinks; she praised the Americano for its nice caffeine kick, and my Chai Latte hit the spot. There were plenty of games, especially puzzles, to keep us entertained. The place was huge inside, and it seems they have a whole section where you can maybe rent bikes and/or get your bikes repaired. We're definitely planning on making a...
