The Good: not much. The Bad: the service. The Ugly: Moldy Food.
We came here on a busy morning for brunch with a large group of eight people. Although we called ahead to put our name on the waitlist, we still had to wait 30 minutes before being seated upon our arrival.
Five minutes after we were seated, our waitress came to take our order. However, we needed more time to review the menus, especially with children in our group. After maybe 10 minutes, when we were ready, we found getting our waitress's attention difficult. It took 30 mins after being seated to place our orders. Additionally, she refused to pour coffee for the table because we had kids present. Maybe that is company policy, but it is a strange one. While she wasn’t rude, her service felt quite neglectful.
Once we received our food, she didn’t check in on us at all, and we ended up waiting a long time just to get someone to bring us the bill. While the food tasted good, it was a bit too salty. Our orders had several issues: the skillet breakfast didn’t actually come in a skillet, the classic breakfast was supposed to include three scrambled eggs but appeared to have only one, and one dish had mold on the bread. When we pointed out the moldy bread to our waitress, she said she would take care of it but never followed up or removed that dish.
Overall, the edible food tasted good, but the service was disappointing. I will not be returning to...
Read moreFirst Watch was a wonderful experience for us. This was our first time visiting this brand and we were very impressed for a chain store.
The servers were all friendly, attentive, and efficient at what they do. They recommended their favorite items and we appreciated that.
We tried a fresh juice drink and it was amazing and light and refreshing. My wife ordered the eggs Benedict and she is a very fussy gal about her eggs Benedict and she rated them on her top 3 list that she has had in many places. So kudos to first watch for making her day.
The maple bacon with cracked pepper was amazing and I highly recommend you to try this. I have done this at home and they hit it right on the mark to how I did it.
I highly recommend everyone to try First watch if you seek a friendly, relatively quiet atmosphere whom serves good food. You can tell the difference between a truck to table store vs fresh ingredients from a truck to prepped with care and putting out a good product on their tables.
Thank you first watch for a great experience and we will be back soon.

Read moreFirst time at this location. Everything was great. I have one issue. Tipping in our great country is getting out of hand. Their minimum recommended tip is 20%. Traditionally, 15% was standard (10% low and 20% high). I always tip 20% unless I get bad service. There is no need to raise the percentages. That is the point of using percentages. As inflation raises the cost of goods (and meals), the service staff automatically get a proportional raise in total tips. A meal that was $35 just 3 years ago is now $55. A 20% tip left the server $7 before, but for the same service they get $11 now at that same PERCENTAGE. There is no need for tipflation. You insult people who tip 20% by calling that a "low" or "minimum recommended" tip. Name a country in the world where tips are that high. It is already a fantastic tip. If countries do accept tips as a norm, the high is typically 10%. This is merchant services encouraging vendors to get greedy. It doesn't help any of us when we are all paying 50% tips and eventually 100% tips and eventually 200% tips. That's just absurd, right? Well, what is the limit? I'm not tipping over 20%....
