I recently had an exceptionally disappointing experience with the Panera located in Deerfield, and I felt compelled to share my unfortunate encounter.
I placed an order for 15 sandwiches via Panera's website from this Panera location, for an executive meeting. I was supposed to receive my order at 11, and it was not there. I called Panera to ask and they told me that door dash had picked up the order and that once it was picked up, they were not responsible for the order anymore. As a PANERA customer, not door dash customer, I felt that they needed to help me resolve the issue.
However, the manager's response was far from what one would expect in a customer-centric business. Instead of showing any willingness to take responsibility or provide assistance, the manager immediately shifted the blame to DoorDash, insisting that they were not responsible for my order. She instructed me to contact DoorDash directly and abruptly hung up the phone.
This experience was not only frustrating but also incredibly disappointing. As a customer, I expected a basic level of courtesy and willingness to address a problem, especially one caused by the store's miscommunication with DoorDash. The manager's lack of accountability and dismissive behavior left me feeling unheard and undervalued as a customer.
In the future, I hope that Panera Deerfield can reevaluate its customer service practices to ensure that customers are treated with respect and that their concerns are addressed promptly and professionally. This experience has left a lasting negative impression, and I am hesitant to patronize this location in the future.
I believe that customer feedback is essential for the improvement of any establishment, and I sincerely hope that Panera Deerfield takes this feedback seriously and works to improve its customer...

Read moreWe stopped in yesterday prior to our Daughters swim meet. We were very happy, we were going to eat and still be early. Wrong. It took twenty minutes to get the order placed. Their employee just could not get the order entered correctly.
After it was entered, 10 min passed and still didn’t have the bagel sandwich that we ordered. When I expressed to the manager that we had been waiting, her rude retort was: “What do you want ME to do? We are short employees (three were making sandwiches, etc) and we’re having equipment problems! So, I waited another 15 min and my Wife came in and said we have to leave. So, 55 min to get a cookie and milk. Never got the breakfast sandwich. And as a note, at the time, there were two other people in the place. To ensure that you don’t become frustrated, find another location. As a business owner… your employees are only as good as their manager! Panera should terminate her,...
