Usually Wendy’s is our go-to for a quick cheap dinner, especially after a long drive home. Usually we don’t have any issues with this location but today changed my mind - to the point I’m not even sure if it’s worth going back. The drive-through cashier was rude. Even at the speaker, she rushed through taking our order. It was busy, but not as busy as I have seen it (total visit from pulling up to leaving was less than five minutes. When we pulled up to the window, I greeted her politely but all she did was hold out her hand for payment. She gave us our drinks, and eventually our food. As she had rushed us through at the speaker and had not repeated our order I made sure to check the bag before pulling away, which she was NOT happy about.
Anyway, we get home(Less than 5 min)and not only was the food ice cold, it was wrong. The nuggets for the two biggie bags were spicy, which we did not want or ask for (the third meal was spicy nuggets and was correct). ALL the nuggets were stale and leathery like they had been sitting there all day. Also, we ordered bacon double stacks with the biggie bags but only got regular double stacks - no bacon, also tasted super old. The fry containers were less than 2/3 filled, barely over half.
Like I said, we have come to this location often in the past, (though not too recently)and never had an experience like this. If there was only one issue, maybe I would feel differently but I was highly unsatisfied with the majority of our meal, and we also paid $7 each for the bacon double stack biggie bags, but got the $5 double stacks instead. So in addition to old and cold food we got ripped off for...
Read moreThe distain I feel for this place today is only rivaled by Mc Donald's. It took a moment for the lady to take our order at the speaker which is fine. I ordered two meals and a potato. We had to pull forward for a fish sandwich. Once again no big deal (she disclosed it would take 6 minutes when ordering ) . The lady on speaker was hardly understandable sounding like she was on a fairly good trip. After waiting patiently for our food the runner all but shoved the food bags into my hands and stomped off. No thank you, have a great day, sorry for the wait anything. After arriving at the playground, and opening our food there was no sour cream I paid extra for with the potato, no honey mustard for the nuggets, and they forgot one of the combos fries. I don't often go out to eat, especially with prices what they are. But with service like this I am definitely rethinking even our seldom outings. I've done food service for an accumulative 10 years and have worked almost every job title in that time. And I understand things were tough through 2020 and still continue to be, however if your store keeps this up I don't know how you will...
Read moreI know the score looks way off but it's very warranted. First things first there's a now hiring sign but I never paid too close attention to that. In this case I think I know why they might be hiring. I was polite and said yes ma'am no ma'am, I wasn't hard or rude I thought I was being very nice. But the woman who took my order took my credit card and gave me my food and acted like she had something better to do, or at least talk about. I asked for my receipt that I saw that she put a copy of in a bag in front of her and printed me out another copy once I got her attention after I interrupted her conversation on what I hope was the new Bad Boys sequel. Then to make matters worse I found a hair in my French Fries, I'm bald headed with very little facial hair, this was a brown blonde long hair. I'm glad I don't live here and I never have to visit this Wendy's again. Next time I'm up here for business I'll try one of these other restaurants they got around here. Shame too, service was fast. That's why the atmosphere gets 5 stars. I covered the name on the receipt because I'm not trying to get nobody in trouble, but y'all can do...
