This pizza “joint” is absolutely horrible. I used to order from this place once a week. Now, I will NEVER, EVER order from this “joint” again.
Normally I just request delivery, but I forgot my husband’s steak sandwich. So once I caught my mistake I called back to “add on” my order. I don’t even think it was fifteen minutes, even checked the phone log on my phone. The guy on the phone said I couldn’t add it onto my order because it had gone out for delivery already and hung up on me. What? You hung up on me? I call back, he didn’t even answer the phone, just straight up hung up on me. I was getting furious. In the meantime, my husband came home. I asked him to watch the children while I went down to the pizza “joint” and speak to the manager about my rude experience.
I get to the “joint” they call a pizza place. I’d driven past it, but never picked up my food. Again, I will NEVER, EVER GIVE THEM MY BUSINESS! I came in to order the additional steak and speak with the manager about my horrendous experience on the phone with the guy that answered the phone. Ironically when I approached the counter, the guy behind it was handing the delivery guy my 40+ order. But wait, it had already left to go out right? Even worse, that rude guy that answered the phone was the supposed “manager”. When I asked him why he told me I couldn’t add on the steak to my previous order, he again told me it had already left. I said to him, “How can that be, you JUST gave it to the delivery guy?” He turns to me and says, “It’s very busy here ma’am. Are you going to hassle me or place an order for a cheesesteak?” Are you serious? Hassle him? How was I hassling him? I replied to him, “No hassle buddy, I’m taking my business else where!” He insolently turns around and says to me, “You need to take your business to Jenny Craig.”
Are you kidding me? Do you talk to your mother like that? I just gave birth to twins two months ago and still have baby weight on me.
Obviously this man doesn’t have an ounce of compassion or customer service skills in his body. At best their food is mediocre. Their customer service is deplorable. Save your time, money and breath and order some where else. Not only have I had a bad experience with this supposed manager, others have as well, along with the rude phone girl.
ORDER FROM SOME WHERE ELSE!!!
TRUST ME!!!
To the response from the owner: according to your “manager” you’re never there. How would you know? I call it the way I see it. I’ve checked your reviews elsewhere online....there is one consistent complaint...your manager. He is driving your business to the ground. You can get your friends to come on here and write good reviews. Fact is fact. Your manager is awful and shouldn’t be dealing with the public.you may want to reconsider his employment.
In fact, the “owner’s” comment sounds a lot like the pompous arrogant manager I dealt with when I went into this place.
If you weren’t so rude and hung up on me, you would have found out that it would have been more than a $6 pizza. Too bad you don’t have manners. Another local shop got my $80 order and will continue to get my business...
Read moreI used to stop here somewhat regularly and have always noticed the lack of just decent interaction with customers but I’m just here to get something to eat so I just ignored it. Of course it eventually got around to me. I ordered burger and fries. When I received it I wanted to add salt and ketchup. They told me they were out of salt and ketchup. Ok it happens. I worked in food service my whole life and if this was my joint, I would have sent someone to acme across the street for salt and ketchup. Anyway I noticed the bun my burger was in was hard. It was old and stale. I showed it to the lady cashier and the person who made my burger and they assured me it was a fresh roll. Here I am tapping on it with a fork and it sounds like I’m hitting a piece of wood but they swear it was a fresh roll delivered earlier that day. Anyway. I was hungry so I sat to eat and when I tried to take my first bite the roll fell apart. A clear sign that the roll was stale. I showed it to the cashier and cook and tried to explain that I’m not accusing them of anything and that perhaps they should look into the delivery company they use but they insisted it was fresh. To hell with the evidence I’m showing them. They stared at me like “so what”. I asked for the manager and the woman at the register told me she was the manager. Everything made sense now. She has always been cold and never seems interested in what she’s doing, possibly cause she’s always in her phone texting but she genuinely couldn’t care less. I demanded a refund and I got it. I then drove across the street to Acme, purchased a roll from Their bakery , went back and showed them what a fresh roll looked like. Onviously the owner has no clue or interest in what good service is. Forget my experience, just read how he addresses dissatisfied customers. I understand from being in food service about unreasonable customers so I work hard not to be that way but when someone is hitting your roll with an object and it’s hard and then shows you the roll won’t flex what are you saying? That every roll I’ve ever had until this day were bad and this one roll was the real fresh one? Cmon man get real. I dont expect perfection and we all make mistakes but the response from the “manager (I don’t really think she was the manager, I think they just wanted me gone) is why I will not return and I have told others the story as well. How this place is in business can only be attributed to pricing cause they’re unclean , rude and food is mediocre at best. Go to Mazellas on Philadelphia Pike like a short distance away. Cost a little more but the food is good and the manager insists he and his staff treat customers like customers not like inconveniences. Sorry Paris but too many incidents in short...
Read moreI've lived in the Bellefonte area for going on twenty years, eat a lot of carry out, and have used pretty much every carry out place within a five mile radius multiple times. And I have to say Paris Pizza overall has been the best of them.
The great thing about Paris is that the prices are always reasonable, the deliveries are always on time, and everyone in the organization is pleasant. Of course none of that matters if the food doesn't measure up. And on that score Paris is among the best.
One of the great things about Paris is that, at least for my wife and I, we have never had a bad meal. They are uniformly good for us no matter what we order. I've never had a bad menu item, and I've had most of them.
Paris does a great job when it comes to order details. You want fries well done- you got it. Pizza well done with extra sauce- no problem. They are the only delivery/carry-out place I've dealt with that always reads the instructions and delivers what you want.
Tonight I ordered a one topping medium pizza with bacon. Pretty much perfectly cooked and quality ingredients. I've enclosed the photo.
I am very glad I...
