I recently dined at this restaurant and was overall impressed by the dining experience. The ambiance was lovely, the food was delicious, and the service was impeccable. However, the valet parking left much to be desired.

Let's start with the positives. The restaurant's atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect setting for a special night out. The menu offered a variety of delectable dishes, and each one I tried was both flavorful and beautifully presented. The waitstaff was attentive and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall dining experience.

Unfortunately, the valet parking was a notable letdown. While I appreciate the convenience of valet service, I couldn't help but notice some concerning issues. Firstly, it appeared that my car was driven quite a distance, which was evident from the mileage on my odometer. This raised questions about the professionalism and trustworthiness of the valet staff.

Furthermore, upon receiving my car, I discovered that some settings within it had been altered. The air conditioning was set at a different temperature, and there were changes made to other settings that I had to readjust. This intrusion into my personal vehicle left me feeling uncomfortable and violated.

In summary, this restaurant offers an exceptional dining experience with delectable cuisine and outstanding service. However, the valet parking service needs significant improvement, as it detracted from an otherwise great evening. I hope the restaurant management addresses these concerns to ensure that the overall experience remains exceptional for...

Not what it used to be. We have been coming to this restaurant regularly for over the last year. We are locals. The last two meals we had were mediocre at best. The service at the bar has gone from wow to what the heck happened. Our most recent meal, we ordered the seafood risotto and the 24 Oz strip steak. We didn't order alcohol and was looked at like why are you sitting here then? We did however order two meals that created a bill over $100. Easier for them is how I looked at it. The meal took over 50 minutes to arrive. This has never happened. Usually 20 minutes tops. After 35 minutes I asked the bartender if the kitchen was really slow for some reason and she said the restaurant was packed. No more so then any other night. We eat here bi-weekly. She did nothing to check on our meal. After 45 minutes I asked again and she went back to check on the meals. After another 10 minutes our meals finally came out. My husbands steak was rare not medium as requested. My meal was fine, however both of us ate seperately because of the timing. They took the steak back and he waited yet again. When it came out the second time it was still underdone, but he kept it. No appology, and a slight attitude from the bartender as if he was bothering her. They truly didn't care.

I have to say that they are not putting their best foot forward these days. Maybe we will give it another try in a couple of months. Maybe

There are many restaurants on the Avenue to choose from. Everyone has a bad nigh occasionally. A poor attitude about a bad night is just not...

My wife and I were on our last night of vacation (we’re from Wyoming) and we are staying at the opal grand so we decided to walk here to get some food. As we were seated instantly which we thought this place must be great no wait for a table. We ordered an appetizer which was good. Then our waiter who decided to get an attitude with my wife because she was asking questions about the food, he told us he would be back…he never came back which he’s lucky because I was not in the right mindset at this time. Then a waitress came up to us and she asked if she could get us anything? I said yeah the waiter as we’ve been sitting here for 45 mins at this point. She took our order and she was very nice the food came probably 45 mins later so we’ve been in the restaurant for almost an hour and 45 mins at this point and let’s just say I’ll never eat your over priced food ever again I think our bread was probably the best part of dinner and that’s sad to say your staff needs a lot of work especially being located where it is. I’m glad this place could ruin our last night in Delray because a bunch of high school punk asses work there. Olive Garden does it better and that’s sad to say especially this restaurant claiming to be an “authentic” Italian restaurant. DO BETTER! Yes your servers were tipped a whole $1 which my wife and I never do I always tip very graciously but the service was some of the worst we have ever had anywhere in a long time. I don’t pay people that can’t do there jobs I have to work at my job to get paid so if you want paid you’ll...

We had relatives in town that were more inclined towards traditional Italian American food, that combined with the fact that this was the only place available for a last minute 7pm reservation for 4 on a Saturday night, thus we ended up here last night. Having been here in the past and not returning for what my wife and I considered overly salty traditional IA food. Our apps were the olives and parmigiana as well as I had a bowl of the special white Tuscan bean soup-……both were excellent. Our two guests ordered the chicken parm and tagliarini Al limone, my wife ordered the radiatore alla norma and I had the linguine nere. Mine was excellent, pasta was perfectly cooked, not overly salty and tons of shrimp with a great mint overtone. My wife’s was good, not great, the sauce was overly bitter, yes that can happen when eggplant are involved but I’ve had this dish throughout my life and that particular food note can be tamed. The radiatore were just a tad overcooked for my taste, as I like my pasta very al-dente, but my wife agreed. The tagliarini Al limone was very good, however the chicken parm, while tasting very good and not overly salty, was a “woody breast” (if you don’t know what that means, look it up) This happens from time to time and it’s tough to know in advance from a cooks perspective, whether this is an issue. As an aside, the place deafening as in loud, loud, loud, which does tell you they pack them in, very busy place

This was my first visit here in downtown Delray Beach which sits comfortably on Atlantic Ave. Even on a Monday, towards the earlier part of the evening, the place was quite crowded. Showing no signs of slowing down here in SoFla. The dark, old school Italian restaurant style mimicking decor and dim lighting can give you the feeling that you’re not right in the hustle and bustle of the area, which was mostly enjoyable. Our server was supremely friendly and knowledgeable of both the menu and the specials, of which there were quite a few. Out came some extremely fresh sourdough, served piping hot. While we were informed that even the server had never seen it that fresh, but sure glad we got to enjoy it. Pictured was one such special which was a wonderful pairing of soft fresh Buffalo mozzarella, prosciutto and Florida peaches (didn’t know we made peaches honestly) with a nice honey drizzle and crushed Marcona. This dish started to make me wonder if all the nay sayers were wrong about this place and I started to change my tune. Until the rest of the food came out….big ole roll down hill from there unfortunately. The sautéed calamari had a bit of a fishy smell and was just saturated with too much olive oil. The meatballs were possibly previously frozen? Not quite sure what happened there. But, they were borderline inedible. It certainly a dichotomous experience to say the least.

Elizabetta's Ristorante in Delray Beach offers a truly delightful dining experience with its trendy, two-floor layout and vibrant atmosphere. The ambiance is perfect for those looking to enjoy a stylish meal in a lively setting. The narrow staircase leads you to an open dining area on the second floor, where you can savor your meal while enjoying a charming balcony view of the surroundings. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure you feel welcomed from the moment you arrive. One of the standout dishes was the pasta, which was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The shrimp scampi was an absolute highlight—perfectly cooked with a rich, buttery sauce that left me wanting more. The bars on both floors were well stocked. FYI the restrooms are on the second floor. While the food was undeniably delicious, the service was a bit slow during our visit. However, it was a busy holiday afternoon, and I could understand the bustling atmosphere may have contributed to delays. Parking can be a bit tricky, especially on busy weekends. We ended up parking in a metered spot (24.50 for two hours !!) near the city garage, as the offstreet parking was limited. Overall, the experience at Elizabetta's Ristorante was wonderful, the quality of the food and welcoming staff more than made up for minor inconveniences. I’ll definitely be back for another visit soon!
