A girlfriend and myself went here just to have a light dinner and a drink and catch up. We were seated fairly fast outside and that was great. However we had to scream to hear each other, sitting directly across from each other at a small table. We ordered and the waitress didnāt seem very friendly, she seemed rushed and irritated with us even tho we were being as fast and polite as possible. I understand having a busy night, I worked in the restaurant business for years and ran a sushi bar for two years, completely understandable, we ordered and the food came in around 35 minutes and her drink shortly after in about 40. We finished and other people took our plates. Everyone else was very polite and friendly. She finally came back to give us our check 40 minutes later. We didnāt necessarily mind because we were catching up but she was fairly aggressive with everything she was saying and extremely rushing and stressful. My girlfriend decided to pay and tipped 15% because she felt the service was less than comfortable. I was going to leave a cash tip on the table in addition. The waitress watched her put a custom tip, took the machine, and told her āthis is suggested on the receipt, you have to chose one of theseā and forced her to choose 18-25%. We were absolutely in awe. Iāve never had someone so aggressive and i felt like it was disrespectful. So of course I didnāt leave anything and we left in utter shock. As a waitress I would never expect let alone force a tip from any guest. I still canāt believe it. All to say the food was good, we got sushi and sashimi. Iāve had just as good good with much better service and for a better price so personally I wouldnāt recommend. The ambiance was...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBe aware! If you have a food allergy this place is not safe to eat at. I have a severe peanut allergy and Iām also allergic to avocados. I made sure to mention it to the waitress prior to ordering. My girlfriend and I ordered scallion pancakes, which was a safe choice for me. When the food came, I noticed it looked like avocados were in it. Seconds later, my girlfriend told me to not touch anything because it also had peanuts. Thank god I didnāt take a bite because I wouldāve ended up in the hospital. My allergy is so severe that if a peanut were to touch my skin I would have to take my epi pen right away and head to the hospital. Additionally, the manager never came to remedy the issue, nor apologized, and even though my girlfriend spent over $300, the establishment never cared about their mistake. Also, they didnāt even want to take the pancakes off of the bill and the waitress claimed that she would have to pay for it if. This place is a joke I will never return due to the awful...
