Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Delray Beach

Took my wife to Tropical Cafe and upon arrival the door was locked at 8:40pm on a Tuesday evening. I expressed my disappointment to the worker inside through the glass that it’s only 8:40, why is the door locked? He looked directly at me and ignored me. I knocked and made sure he saw me and again he looked away and ignored me. I sat in front of the store and wrote this review, during their posted open store hours to let everyone know how horrible their service is and how lazy the workers at this location are. I also took pictures of them ignoring me. The last photo shows the time of the last picture after writing this review. I stayed for 15 mins to write this review and take pictures. My wife and I could have been serviced during operating hours but instead the lazy workers wanted to close early. Whoever owns this franchise needs to understand they just lost a sale from me and my wife and a customer that will go to Smoothie King or another establishment. We will not come back here again. It’s just beyond horrible the way paying customers are treated. Lazy workers...

... Nice to have this in the neighborhood .. Was much needed in this up and coming plaza .. There is no smoothie healthy quick bite food in this area .. You would need to go down by the beach .. I find the smoothies to be so refreshing on a hot day .. A little pricey but they sometimes give out coupons ... A Nice menu to choose from .. And I like the music while I wait ... Sometimes old school disco plays which I love ... I just want to say , I see some negative reviews about the staff .. Some employees are new which Im sure are nervous and learning .. And then they have to deal with customers with a smile .. A hard job they have especially during a Pandemic and having to wear masks all day for their shift and make sure everything is cleaned properly ... Perhaps the owners of this franchise should step in and have hands on ... I know I would if I were...

This loca. Nvr answer’s the phone.. They must make so much $$ here that they don’t need call in buiss.. Since it usually take 13-27 mins for a Walk in Smoothie (workers are great and always friendly) But they Are Seriously slow compared to literally any other smoothie shop esp the boynt. Beach loca. I try to call ahead from the gym and order so i can come pay pick up and leave. 3xs now 3 days this week i tried to call and order and guess what _~No Answer! When i goto La fitness in boynton beach i do the same and am always able to order and p up! Also as others have mentioned the Smoothies def don’t taste the same as they use too! Always get the same one and the boynton beach loca is a lot fresher flavorfull’ier and tasty! Guess im just stick w Boynton beach loca...
