This is usually my go-to Starbucks since it’s closer to my office, they staff are always friendly and on top on the coffee beans, even when it’s busy. Typically it takes me about 15 minutes to get to this location, so mobile order it is. I can drive up( or walk in, line depending) pick it up and I’m out of the parking lot in less than two minutes. Today was an unusual day as when I went to go get my coffee(walked in…drive up was bonkers) it wasn’t ready. In fact, when I inquired about how long it was going to take, they apparently hadn’t started it yet. No big deal, I would normally just wait, but then I did have to be at work fairly soon. Here’s where it gets interesting, at least to me, because I’m boring. I informed the barista of my predicament and asked if I could come scoop my coffee up on my lunch break. She assured me that I could, just present my mobile receipt for the time I ordered (while they were clearly in the weeds) and they’d remake it at that time. Cool! So I got to work on time and I got my coffee for lunch! See, pretty boring, right? The point of this uneventful afternoon nonsense is that if you are a little patient with anyone in retail, they will work with you as best they can. We have all been digging in the dirt, trying to catch up from an unforeseen event, dreading when the next unhinged person is going to take out their poor planning on you. It sucks. So in short, thank you to the Friday morning/afternoon staff for keeping a smile on and powering through the mess! You all did a great job (I’m presuming, because I had to ditch my morning coffee) turning orders when chaos was reigning. Keep up...
Read moreI will forever support this location and this location only... every time I go the baristas are over the top kind, fast. They have accommodated me multiple times in ways they aren't required to all in the name of customer service. As a new mom with no help I ordered a drive through pick up but my baby fell asleep before I got there. The drive through line was pretty long and if i stopped my car for too she would wake up and scream. Being caught in a stagnant line with a screaming baby is not fun. Instead I parked in front and saw a barista walk in and I asked if she could grab my drink for me. Did she have to? No. But she did and brought it out to me with a huge smile on her face. That made my day. Then today it was another bad day I accidentally placed an online order at the wrong location to the one on 288 and 1-35 which is not a location I like at all. So busy all the time!! I pulled up and realized I was at the wrong location and without hesitation they made it for me free of charge. I literally cried because it was just one of those days where before noon I was done. But once again the baristas made my day with their kindness. Again did they have to? No. I thank yall so much for your constant smiles and above average customer...
Read moreWe go to any Starbucks these days with the expectation that will have to have to wait in the long drive thru lines....so I was prepared when I pulled up. When I placed my order (Venti Mocha latte and bacon & Gouda sandwich) I was given my amount due and to pull forward....so I waited....when I finally got to the window I was told that they had an oven down and I needed to pull forward to wait even longer for my sandwich. 5 minutes later, she walks out with the sandwich....I then very politely told her that if she would have been courteous enough to let me know at the ordering point that it might be a longer delay for the sandwich then that would have given me the option to decline the wait. She looked at me with an "how dare you complain -this is Starbucks - look!" I again politely stated I'm just giving her constructive feedback for the future customers. Her response was I'm sorry can I offer you a free....." but I stopped her there and told her I didn't have time to wait for anything else. It seems expectations for excellent customer service is just getting less and less. They figure they are that so popular that people will put up with just about anything. -...
