Walking into Cafe Miriam feels like being welcomed into a friend's home rather than a business. Housed in a charming Victorian building, this cafe strikes the perfect balance between bright and cozy, creating an inviting atmosphere that encourages you to linger over your meal. And the courtyard will be really lovely once it's warmed up.
The menu offers a delightful variety of options, but the Toscane crepe is truly exceptional - a must-try for first-time visitors. I was equally impressed by the garden veggie sandwich, which showcases the kitchen's commitment to fresh, flavorful ingredients.
What truly sets Cafe Miriam apart, however, is the personal touch. The owner makes a point to meet every customer, creating a genuinely neighborly environment that's increasingly rare in today's fast-paced world. This attention to customer connection is reflected in the consistently friendly service throughout my visit.
Whether you're looking for a quiet spot to work, catching up with friends, or simply enjoying a delicious meal in a unique setting, Cafe Miriam delivers an experience that goes beyond just good food. It's a place where you're not just another customer - you're part of...
Read moreMy friends and I came here for brunch recently. It was the first thing we did when we landed in Denver and it was probably the best decision we could have made. We went to the city park location first and thought we’d have to take our food to go because we were a big party of 9. However, the owner Touhami was incredibly generous and accommodating. He directed us to this newer and more spacious location on Lafayette and called the servers here to make sure we got all our drinks on the house. The ambiance was beautiful and so pleasant, the food was very nice, the service was very good. And then Touhami came to this location and chatted with us for a while to make sure we were satisfied with everything. After hearing that we were visiting for the first time, he proceeded to give us a short list of recommendations on things to see and places to eat in Colorado. Wonderful experience overall, food and hospitality was great,...
Read moreAs a resident of City Park West, I just love having a Cafe Miriam around the corner. I love to take my dog there and enjoy my favorite breakfast dish, the egg croissant sandwich (ask for Brie cheese) and a carmel macchiato. The staff is always warm and friendly, and they create the perfect atmosphere for a leisurely meal while I read the news or check my email. They know my order before I even open my mouth, down to the extra carmel in my macchiato.
I recently went to the new Uptown location on 17th, and they’ve done a great job of replicating this wonderful experience. Same lovely people, same good food, but even more seating! Enjoy Cafe Miriam, Uptown people. You are lucky to have this award winning establishment...
