August, 2023 Update: good pizza. Love their White Pie, without mushrooms. Thin crust, gooey egg on top, yummy!

I debated I debated rating this either a 3 or a 4 star, and went with the 4 star, as the food is good.

White Pie is Appetizers, Pizza, and Pasta. The interior is beautiful! I love the three walls of exposed brick. The floors are cement, and the ceilings are high wood ceilings. There is one wall of windows, letting in the lovely Colorado sunshine. The interior is done in browns, reds and blacks, and it all goes very well together. There are 7 tables that seat 2 people, 1 table that can seat 3 people, 1 large booth which can probably hold about 8 people, and 2 community tables which seat 10 people on backless stools. The wooden bench that runs along the wall, is the main seat for the tables that are there along the bench. There is nice music in the background, and you can hear the people in your party. Nice! Parking is along the street. There is also an outdoor patio as well.

We had the Roman Gnocchi. This is, "Wood Oven Cooked Semolina, Mascarpone, House Ricotta." It comes to your table very hot, in a small skillet. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was very good! Give it a try!

We also had the pizza, and it was very good. We had the Sausage Ricotta Pizza, without the onions. It was just enough pizza to share between my husband and myself. The crust was thin, the sauce was just enough, and the toppings were perfect. It was a very yummy pizza! It's an irregular shape, which makes it even more enjoyable. It's not what you expect. It's cooked in a wood fired oven, which I love.

The restaurant doesn't open until 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm. They are closed on Sundays. Seating is first come, first serve. While we were there, the table filled up quickly. One party of three came in, and the individual tables were already taken. This party had to sit at one of the community tables. I could tell by the faces of the people in this party, that they really didn't want to sit at the community table. So, get there early.

The food was good, the interior is clean, sleek, and fun. Service was good as well. Parking is on the street.

Good food, with a small menu, but the items on the menu are well thought out, and very well prepared. It's worth the trip to get some good pizza or...

Update 9/13/23: Oof, just yesterday I gave this place five stars but today I tested them and once again they failed in one area but promptly fixed the problem. I walked in and ordered a solo cannolo (the guy ringing up my order chuckled and corrected me saying “cannoli”… in America sure, but I’m also not wrong). Again tonight when it came out, it only had the mascarpone filling on the very ends to make it look filled. Thankfully the manager was able to go into the kitchen and show the staff how to properly fill one, but I worry this may be some sort of scheme they run on take-out cannoli orders. So just be aware, if you order cannoli, make sure it’s filled.

Review 9/12/23: I don’t normally give a place five stars, but white pie knows what they are doing.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while now. Got a variety of things to try instead of just a pizza. Overall very impressed. Simple menu, simple food, but not simple flavors. Cool atmosphere and an oven that definitely does the job. Here is what I ordered:

Porky Porkorino Love a wood fired pizza, the crust was well done on the edges, the pepperoni were huge, and the hot honey was a perfect addition. Ate half the pie… would have enjoyed a crispier bottom as you get closer to the center but the flavors made up for that. 8/10

Cannolo & Churro Cannoli These were super tasty but both flavors were not actually filled… there were simply dollops of the mascarpone filling on the ends to give the illusion that they were filled. Not sure how it could have been a mistake since it happened on both but I gave the restaurant a call and they promptly apologized and comped those off of my order. No harm, no foul. The lemon zest on the regular cannolo was a great addition. The bites I did have though, 9/10 (5/10 with the error)

Caesar Salad The dressing tasted homemade, not like from a bottle. Enjoyed it but didn’t pack a ton of flavor. Could have used two things of dressing in such a big box but oh well. 6/10

Meatballs Al Forno These were tasty, not much to say about them. Happy with the meatballs and...

If you’re on the hunt for the best pizza in Denver, look no further than White Pie — a standout spot that delivers not just unforgettable pies, but a full-on dining experience that blends authenticity, style, and genuine hospitality.

The first thing that hits you is the atmosphere: effortlessly cool without trying too hard, buzzing with energy, and perfect for everything from date nights to group dinners. It’s one of those rare places that feels both elevated and inviting.

And the pizza? Next level. White Pie sets the bar high with an authentic Italian oven at the heart of their kitchen — a detail you can taste in every bite. The blistered, chewy crust, the perfectly balanced toppings, and that unmistakable wood-fired flavor… it’s pizza perfection. They don’t cut corners here; everything is crafted with intention, respect for tradition, and a serious love for the craft.

But White Pie doesn’t stop at just great pizza. Their refreshing cocktail menu is thoughtfully curated, with seasonal ingredients and unique flavor combinations that surprise in the best way. Whether you’re sipping a citrusy spritz or a bold, herbaceous blend, there’s something for every mood. And if wine is more your style, you’re in for a treat — the wine list is exceptional, showcasing a smart mix of Italian and local selections that pair beautifully with the menu.

The staff deserves their own shout-out. Accommodating, knowledgeable, and always on point — they elevate the experience with their warm service and attention to detail. Whether it’s helping you choose the right wine, making dietary accommodations, or just adding to the fun of the evening, they make you feel genuinely cared for.

White Pie Society isn’t just another pizza spot — it’s a place where food, drink, and atmosphere come together flawlessly. It’s no surprise locals are calling it the best pizza place in Denver — and after one visit, you’ll probably be saying the same.

Foreskin...

wasn’t expecting much walking in. I was on an active search a few months back for the pizza of my dream. I almost had it . Almost. Fast forward to last night. Being our first time we requested the expert rec of our female server. I knew I wanted to try their white pizza no matter what. It is after all their namesake. We also ordered their Cacio y Pepe. Red Sauce Pizza and their equally famous House Puff and Ceasar Salad. Oh their generously sized Cannoli! So we were all bombarded by all the goodness on our table! The burnt edges on the Red sauce pizza. The amazing looking yolk in the middle of the White Pie. White Pie is the one for me. The taste was uniquely it’s own. It feels healthy because of the thin but desirable crust. That burnt wood taste only afforded by real wood burning oven. That’s my holy grail. It’s actually there. It’s present and it’s on your tongue. My senses tingle with gratitude having found this slice of heaven. It doesn’t stop here. The Cacio y Pepe is where lies my allegiance to this place. One of the best! Like someone went to Italy and brought some home. For me. Me. It’s such a simple Italian dish.. and includes only black pepper, Pecorino Romano cheese, and pasta. The simplicity kills me. The taste? Amazing. Prize?? Who cares! But ok. This isn’t a cheap pizza joint. An order will set you back about $15. Gasp? Hey you can’t put a price on the good stuff in life.

I had a blast and indulged in super yummy pizza at White Pie. It was comfortably crowded on a Monday night about an hour before closing. They have a very clean dining room with a cool view of their pizza oven. We were able to get a table right away and the service was stellar from the moment we walked in the door. We had beers and started with their House Puff with a side of hot honey as recommended by our server. It was a fantastic recommendation as it took the already tasty puff to the next level (I do think that it had better for an additional $2 for a small ramekin). We didn't need to eat the whole puff but we did. Then we had a the Burrata Banger (my favorite, surprise as my Chicago born husband usually likes deep dish more than me) and the Three Meats. We finished our leftovers over the next couple of days and it was just as good later as it was at the restaurant. We're definitely looking forward to our next visit!
