August, 2023 Update: good pizza. Love their White Pie, without mushrooms. Thin crust, gooey egg on top, yummy!
I debated I debated rating this either a 3 or a 4 star, and went with the 4 star, as the food is good.
White Pie is Appetizers, Pizza, and Pasta. The interior is beautiful! I love the three walls of exposed brick. The floors are cement, and the ceilings are high wood ceilings. There is one wall of windows, letting in the lovely Colorado sunshine. The interior is done in browns, reds and blacks, and it all goes very well together. There are 7 tables that seat 2 people, 1 table that can seat 3 people, 1 large booth which can probably hold about 8 people, and 2 community tables which seat 10 people on backless stools. The wooden bench that runs along the wall, is the main seat for the tables that are there along the bench. There is nice music in the background, and you can hear the people in your party. Nice! Parking is along the street. There is also an outdoor patio as well.
We had the Roman Gnocchi. This is, "Wood Oven Cooked Semolina, Mascarpone, House Ricotta." It comes to your table very hot, in a small skillet. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was very good! Give it a try!
We also had the pizza, and it was very good. We had the Sausage Ricotta Pizza, without the onions. It was just enough pizza to share between my husband and myself. The crust was thin, the sauce was just enough, and the toppings were perfect. It was a very yummy pizza! It's an irregular shape, which makes it even more enjoyable. It's not what you expect. It's cooked in a wood fired oven, which I love.
The restaurant doesn't open until 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm. They are closed on Sundays. Seating is first come, first serve. While we were there, the table filled up quickly. One party of three came in, and the individual tables were already taken. This party had to sit at one of the community tables. I could tell by the faces of the people in this party, that they really didn't want to sit at the community table. So, get there early.
The food was good, the interior is clean, sleek, and fun. Service was good as well. Parking is on the street.
Good food, with a small menu, but the items on the menu are well thought out, and very well prepared. It's worth the trip to get some good pizza or...

I walked in and ordered a solo cannolo (the guy ringing up my order chuckled and corrected me saying “cannoli”… in America sure, but I’m also not wrong). Again tonight when it came out, it only had the mascarpone filling on the very ends to make it look filled. Thankfully the manager was able to go into the kitchen and show the staff how to properly fill one, but I worry this may be some sort of scheme they run on take-out cannoli orders. So just be aware, if you order cannoli, make sure it’s filled.
Review 9/12/23: I don’t normally give a place five stars, but white pie knows what they are doing.
I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while now. Got a variety of things to try instead of just a pizza. Overall very impressed. Simple menu, simple food, but not simple flavors. Cool atmosphere and an oven that definitely does the job. Here is what I ordered:
Porky Porkorino Love a wood fired pizza, the crust was well done on the edges, the pepperoni were huge, and the hot honey was a perfect addition. Ate half the pie… would have enjoyed a crispier bottom as you get closer to the center but the flavors made up for that. 8/10
Cannolo & Churro Cannoli These were super tasty but both flavors were not actually filled… there were simply dollops of the mascarpone filling on the ends to give the illusion that they were filled. Not sure how it could have been a mistake since it happened on both but I gave the restaurant a call and they promptly apologized and comped those off of my order. No harm, no foul. The lemon zest on the regular cannolo was a great addition. The bites I did have though, 9/10 (5/10 with the error)
Caesar Salad The dressing tasted homemade, not like from a bottle. Enjoyed it but didn’t pack a ton of flavor. Could have used two things of dressing in such a big box but oh well. 6/10
Meatballs Al Forno These were tasty, not much to say about them. Happy with the meatballs and...
