My buddies and I were visiting Denver for the 2023 NBA finals, and we were on the hunt for a breakfast place that knows how to whip up some mouthwatering morning munchies. We found this little gem, a culinary paradise with your taste buds covered, whether you're a carnivorous connoisseur or a veggie-loving virtuoso. Their commitment to catering to different dietary needs sets OneFold apart from the breakfast crowd. Whether you're keto, vegetarian, or have any other specific requirements, they've covered you like a fluffy omelet blanket. Just let them know, and they'll work magic to whip up something scrumptious that fits your food preferences like a glove.
Let's start with the friendly face behind the register. The staff at OneFold are as accommodating as a luxury hotel concierge, with a touch of local charm thrown in. When I mentioned I don't do the porky business, this lovely lady went above and beyond to ensure I had all the right substitutions. We keep it halal, yeah. They were practically a detective, interrogating the cooks to confirm whether the beans were cooked in pork. Talk about dedication! Hats off to them for making sure everyone's breakfast dreams come true.
Now, let's talk about the star of the show—the food. I went for the breakfast burrito, and oh boy, was it a flavor fiesta! Packed with all the morning essentials—scrambled eggs cooked perfectly, cheese, and a medley of fresh ingredients—it was like a breakfast party in my mouth. My taste buds were busting a move with every bite! But don't take my word for it; let your taste buds be the judge. My buddy had the carne asada bowl, and I swear I saw them shed a tear of joy after the first forkful. The tender slices of juicy, marinated carne asada paired with a delightful mix of veggies were like a flavor explosion that transported them to a Mexican wonderland. If you're a meat lover, this bowl is your ticket to carnivorous nirvana.
Now, let's get real for a sec. OneFold is cozy, alright. So cozy, in fact, that it might be a tight squeeze during peak hours, considering the restaurant's layout. If you're looking for a roomy spot to spread out and do your morning stretches, you might need to save that for the...
Read moreI went to Onefold for the first time today around 9:30 am. I ordered huevos rancheros to go. I was wrong to think the tortilla would be packaged separately from the green chili, beans, and everything else that would make a tortilla soggy, and made it all the way home before realizing it. It was a greasy green chili, black bean, and egg soup 🤢
I tried to call, but no answer, so I drove all the way back (about 15 min).
At no fault of Onefold, I accidentally backed into someone's car when trying to park the 2nd time. I haven't eaten since I woke up at 6 am. Focus is off. I left a note for the owner of the car. I mention it simply because it happened after I had to come back a second time due to the carelessness of the packaging, which IS in Onefold's control.
I went in to return the food, and they didn't give me any issues about a refund or replacement, but they did give me attitude. The cashier apologized to the people who were about to order and I said, "I'm not sorry" because I didn't do anything that needed to be apologized for, especially on my behalf.
It's very rude to apologize to one guest after another guest needs your help. Still in earshot. The guest isn't a burden for needing help.
I ordered the bacon fried rice for my boyfriend to replace my order. I already paid, nothing else sounded good at that point, and at least he would have something to eat for tomorrow. It's sad that I left without what I actually wanted to eat. It's 11 am and I still haven't eaten, but at least I've been through a ton of stress.
First time here, so I've never ordered delivery. But I would recommend NOT ordering anything you don't want to be soggy, as they do not package the food properly.
The restaurant is really small, loud and stressful, but the food would be good if you dine in. The restaurant's atmosphere is cute and charming, and since you have to wait for your food if you order takeout/delivery, you may as well wait for a table, dine in, and make sure the quality of your food is okay. That way you don't have to spend time, money, gas and energy to come back if the food is subpar, you can just do it all then and there.
Sooo yaaa. I guess I'll walk over to...
Read moreWe went christmas eve morning....mistake.....this place is too small to have food that good.
We had never been there and talking to the lady at the front she said order up front and if you would like take a seat to study the menu.....we took at the time the last 2 seats at the counter....we chatted and studied the menu about 10 minutes....we got up..put a jacket over our seats and went to order.
We got back and someone had moved the jacket and tried taking 1 seat....they hadn't sat so I pulled it out and data d said thanks for moving our jacket.....
A young man in his twenties....started acting like a child yelling, swearing and getting in face...I kept seating and just said calm down....thankfully a table opened up for them and he stopped causing a scene....he was just acting like a big man infont of the girls he was with.
IF...the policy is to order then sit...the cashier should not have told us to take a seat to study the menu....
Food came quickly.....the chorizo tacos were good....my conee came and did not have a poached egg like listed....they did fix the mistake quickly and the rice porridge was really good!
Our other really big complaint on the atmosphere besides the size, and rude childish customer causing a scene, was the speaker we sat right next to...now it was busy so we were glad to get seats and got what we got.....it wasn't the loud speaker....it was what it was playing....
It's almost 2023 and in public spaces businesses really need to think about offending customers and being racially friendly....
Now I'm not opposed to rap music....or hip hop, but why would you play songs like "want to be a gangster" that used N word like 50 times...btch that, pssy, f*ck....and other similar songs that had just as bad, offensive language.
With the quality of the food, we wish it was a better experience....
It is UNLIKELY that we will...
