We live down in Highlands Ranch; most of the restaurants are closed, and the ones that are open all seem to have lame patios with minimal heating and food warmed up from yesterday. We drove up to Campus Lounge and it was a real breathe of fresh air in this pandemic. They had a tent with tables, TV's, and heaters in it keeping it very warm but plenty of air flow in and out. They also had tables outside around the tent with each of them having their own propane heaters by having a fire up through lava rocks in the center of the table. All the food is great- Green chili artichoke dip, smoked wings, burgers, chicken sandwich, steaks, enchiladas, etc. They have a brunch menu as well. Give it a shot. Follow Up on 12/10/20 Went back to CL and had another great experience. Photos of food attached. Meatloaf sliders, smoked all things bagel dry rub wings, kids chicken tenders, house side salad and T-Bone steak. Follow Up on 2/13/21 Mardi Gras menu until next Tuesday- gumbo and shrimp po' boy are Great!

Look. I always scale my reviews to the location im at. So if I go to a neighborhood bar.. I'm not expecting a upscale bar experience. Love the neighborhood bar vibe here! But almost $20 for a Coors Light Pitcher? (only 4 drinks.... A 5-6 drink pitcher at Sportsbook like $14) And got the dry rubbed smoked wings (think it's called sweet heat) and maybe the wings were just too saturated in the rub to experience any smoke but yeah.. The wings were hard to finish. So... Much.... Rub! The salsa flavor was off for the rubbery chips.. My friends got the chorizo queso whose flavor left everyone at the table trying to figure out what it reminded them of (most guessed syrup lol) Again... Awesome neighborhood bar vibe and maybe we just got the wrong food items... But yeah left a lot to be desired

Corner bar, overall average bar food and drink experience. I got the fried chicken sandwich with fries. Super insanely crispy outside, perfectly cooked on a well toasted bun, overall not a lot of actual flavor in the sandwich though. Chicken meat itself lacking seasoning, and not a very thick filet on the sandwich I got for $15, pickles and aioli not really bold enough to be noticed, but no off putting flavors or textures. Overall a decent sandwich. Fries are interesting, shoestring cut but not very seasoned and a variety of doneness, some pale, some well done and crunchy. Would probably go well with a dipping sauce like the garlic aioli.

I came to town a few weeks back, planned on meeting friends at a bar we used to go to all the time back in college(circa 2007) called Quixotes. I really wasn't looking forward to having to trudge through questionable puddles in the bathroom and yell over deafening noise to tell my friends how fat and old they got. It was a huge relief when I was leaving my air b&b(super late as always) and they told me plans had changed because the old dive wasn't open anymore or something and to meet them down the street at the Campus Lounge. I thought "welp, just traded one dingy dungeon for another" Oh man, I was so incredibly impressed with the way this place has glowed up. It's incredible how places can still hold the same nostalgia but be completely different and revamped. I loved the patio, and the staff was immaculate. We had a server named Cody Rose and she was incredibly charismatic and witty all the while being completely attentive to our little reunion while the whole restaurant was busy and bustling with commerce. Drinks stayed full the food came out hot! The food, OMG, The menu was actual food, like, not just something college age wasted people slather in their gullet to sober up for the walk home. I got the Brisket French dip Sandwich and my taste buds broke into dance like late 90s early 2000's dance( you know the dougie and nae nae, Gotta forgive the taste buds, they're old now.) Brisket was juicy and flavorful and the bacon gave it the perfect flavor punch. Top notch. Next time I'm in town this is definitely going to be on my list of spots to stop. Great Job Campus on growing up, you have aged much better than me and my friends! Thanks to Cody Rose for making our night memorable, well as much as our old brains can remember... 5...

You have heard of Sunday Delight? Let me share a story.... Husband and I drove down from Westminster to see our buddy for lunch. Saw the new sign on CAMPUS LOUNGE and joked they must have reopened.

Got to buddy's house and started thinking of brunch or lunch. Called here and there 40 minute wait was the minimum.

Decided to go to the old neighborhood sports bar - Campus Lounge. WHAT A GREAT DECISION! A true Sunday Delight!

As of yet, no egg dishes for a brunch, but from the great variety of the menu, there would be no disappointment. Am not going to tell you what we had. I will tell you this: each of us ordered something with variety....... I use the word variety because our server Joni perfectly served us the way we ordered, with the variety of adjustments we wanted. Not going to tell you what we ordered but do not hesitate to have the roasted tomato soup (obviously from scratch!!)........and because I like my "bone-in-wings" crispy fried, no coating (I like to salt and pepper mine and just a ranch dip) and GUESS WHAT!! Their wings came EXACTLY as I ordered!

To me, this truly shows the scratch foods at Campus Lounge actually start from scratch!

We were lucky - when we got there, there was no wait; I know that will be different next time we go.....and we will go, and from the great food and beverages, I know it will be pretty soon.

Looking for a family owned, local place near Exposition and University? ...

Concerning Family Experience at Campus Lounge

On Saturday evening at 6:30 PM, I experienced a disappointing interaction with General Manager Nick that has made me question the establishment's family-friendly claims. Despite the restaurant's family-oriented amenities (kids' menu, video games, casual atmosphere), the management's handling of a minor situation suggested otherwise.

The incident began when some children were playing in the restrooms. Rather than addressing this specific issue directly with the relevant families, Nick approached all dining families, including those of us whose children were behaving properly. His communication was confrontational and accusatory regarding child supervision. Even after acknowledging that our children weren't involved, he continued with an aggressive demeanor and defensive attitude.

As long-time patrons who have supported Campus Lounge through various ownership changes (including memorable moments like watching the 2022 World Cup final), this interaction was particularly disappointing. The manager's approach to conflict resolution and customer service has unfortunately made us reconsider our family's future visits to the...
