We Knead Donut is amazing donut location with a wide variety of donuts that are always fresh and delicious!! They also have new special donuts that change for holidays or special events!! On top of all the donuts they have so many drink options like boba and coffee as well as lots of breakfast food options like burritos which I highly recommend and Kolaches which are very popular for a reason! The owners are very passionate and committed to We Knead Donuts and are very kind people who have a talent for making donuts! The service is great. I speak from experience as I work there and I love going to work every weekend and I love my job, therefore I do it with a smile on my face! Everyone who works there are so kind and patient, regardless of when there is a long line. They always greet every customer cheerfully when they walk into the colorful shop! Unfortunately truly the worst kolache I’ve ever had.

As a native Texan it’s difficult for me to find kolaches here. This place advertised Texas style kolaches and I was interested. These are not at all similar to Texas kolaches.

A few problems:

Kolache dough is sweet and doughy, this place used a saltier more bready crispy dough. Hard to explain but it was more like a baguette than a roll. Texas kolaches typically use cheddar cheese, this one used asiago cheese (never seen that before). Instead of sausage, they used a hot dog.

No part of the kolache was a kolache except for the shape.

Also, the donuts were strangely crunchy and pretty bad as well. The service was friendly but they took about 10-15 minutes to come out of the back to take my order. Not to mention each kolache was about $4, typically you can get them...
