Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Denver

I haven't been to a Chili's for a couple of years. The last time we ate at one of these, as soon as we sat down and ordered we were cornered by a couple of beggers going table to table claiming some association to the Broncos and a charity wanting money while my wife and I are trying to have a nice quiet lunch. It would be one thing if they were set up outside like Red Cross where we could make our own decision whether or not to approach and donate to their cause. But it's a whole other thing to be going table to table begging for money. I have never seen this anywhere else and was very annoyed during the rest of the visit.

Back to the present. We just finished shopping and were hungry. There was a new Chili's on the corner, and it's been a long time since we've been there last. Surely, they were past allowing beggers coming in and hounding their customers.

The design of the eating area reminded more of an Arby's than a Chili's. I prefered the old look to this one. Anyways, we sat down, received our drinks and gave our food order. As soon as our server left, we were approached by two police officers and a teenager. As they introduced themselves, we feared someone had hit our car in the parking lot or something along those lines. Then they went into their spiel about their charity.

That is the last time I will ever go to a Chili's. I refuse to be badgered for money when all I want is to be left alone to enjoy lunch...

Poor customer service and response to company error, not once, but twice! Ordered a 12 piece bone wing meal, Requested and verified with waitress who brought my meal to the car that additional blue cheese was in there with the order because the last time I ordered, they didn’t provide it and my son wouldn’t eat them. She confirmed it was so I proceeded to work. I arrived at work and handed my son the meal only for him to bring it back stating it wasn’t what we ordered and the dipping sauce was not included. I called immediately to let management know within 30 minutes of purchase that the dipping sauces my son required to eat the meal. were not there. I offered to bring the meal back the following day when I got off because I was told by a manager they would be receiving a truck and he declined. Instead, he offered me a buy one get one free coupon for another meal initially accepted and went back into work after going on break, and entering my car, I became my irate about looking at my $20 in food we didn’t eat so I ate fries and decided to video the fact I still had the food hours later and call the manager back in the morning. After calling back., The manager (Issac) proceeded to tell me there was nothing more he could do for me. So I decided to write my review, as well as reach out to corporate and notify them of my experience. Currently waiting to hear back from corporate as well...

We came in to Denver at a very last second. Our original plan was to stay in Durango, but lack of things took us to Denver. We are staying at a hotel across the street from Chili's and decided easiest option for us all to pick something. When we arrived the place was packed. I checked in with the hostesses for family of 5. She seemed a bit panicked and said it would be 25-30 min wait. While my family went into the entry way to wait, I was asking her what other options were in the area as we are visiting from out of state. As we were talking the hostess was advised that a booth for 4 just opened up and asked if we'd be willing to squeeze in to the booth and if so she could seat us without having to wait. I agreed. Our server Alex was quick to greet us, get us drinks and an app. With as busy as it was, everything was delivered freshly cooked and not hard or stale! Alex was busy but it didn't stop him from going above and beyond for us. My son didn't like his meal he ordered and even though we didn't ask, Alex kindly removed it from our tab and brought us a good chunk of to go find to wrap up everything (minus my sons food he didn't like) but we are so thankful as visitors for the great service the hostess and Alex gave us. I wish I got the hostesses name. When we come back to Denver we will definitely be back to eat at...
