Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Denver

Upon moving to CO from the East coast, we quickly realized there weren't many chipotles around us with good reviews so why even bother. To each its own. Well, yesterday I was craving chipotle, but was instantly reminded that we'd probably have to drive a ways to go to get to a chipotle that will be worth the drive. Knowing already that there was a new location opening near us, I decided to give it a look because a month prior it said it was open, but it wasn't I believe. So we decided to go for it and we arrived to a grand opening like view of the new Chipotle in town, which I had never experienced before. We found parking pretty quick, but doesn't seem like there's a lot of spots anyway. BUT they have a drive through, again very new to me seeing that. Before even going inside, just pulling up to the location you can smell the aroma of some fresh, good chipotle. The line was not long when we got in, but became that a little after, the line does move quick. They took our order quickly yet with attentive care and listened to our requests. Just for the record the food looked amazing, compared to other places I've been that once looked at I consider even wanting to eat there. Everything was just quick and efficient. Now to the taste of the food. I didn't even wait until I reached home, I opened my bowl and ate a delicious and hot bite, not warm, hot. Also, just to mention that they are great with the portions of meat because yes, that's what we're really paying for. Again, they are a new location and I just pray that this one specifically continues in the way that they are going and if anything get's better. I’ve been waiting for this chipotle to open since they were building it since I work 2 minutes away. I finally visited today and was excited. I always order my bowl with extra rice and ALOT of sour cream. I told the girl extra rice like 4 times till I realized she didn’t understand english fully so I had to switch to Spanish. I then tell her ALOT of sour cream and was told I can’t put a lot on the bowl…. I’ve been going to chipotle for YEARS and have never been told that… lol w.e. I get to the register and instead of the guy confirming what I got, he was about to charge me for my order plus what was next to my bowl. Never had that issue either. I had to correct him bcus I noticed the high amount. Honestly really annoying when every other location...

Even though this location just opened, you would think that they would be on top of things but unfortunately that is not the case… The staff want to rush you though the line, I had to pay two separate times because she was rushing me out so fast that she forgot to add my chips and guac on my order. Mind you they were still open for another hour. They were also out of a lot of stuff and it was 10pm, I could understand like 10:45, even 10:30 but if it’s open until 11pm, they should’ve had more items at 10pm. The hot food items were also cold and kinda old looking. The reason they got two stars is cause the store was really clean. But it’s a new store so I wouldn’t...
