le' Bakery Sensual — Restaurant in Denver

I really love this place! It never disappoints, well, never had, til today. Normally when I buy a genitalia cupcake from the Bakery it's in it's own box. Most times the staff even adds a name or a candle. On this visit both my $6 cupcakes were placed in the same box. They fit nicely but what happened to the presentation? I guess they don't follow that rule that the first customer of the day is just as important as the last customer of the day. Although... because my receipt has a time stamp of 435 p.m. We most likely were not the last customers of the day.

Edit: So apparently if you leave a review that the owner doesn't agree with, they immediately think that you're angry. I wasn't angry that I didn't get another box and I didn't ask because I shouldn't have had to. It's their job to make their presentation acceptable for the customer. I should not have to tell them how to do their job. Also, as a person that is not an employee, no I did not know there were more boxes, I actually thought maybe they didn't have any boxes because he did put two cupcakes into one box. I do not assume to know what your employees are thinking when they're trying to cut costs. Additionally, I hadn't been in your store for years, so how was I to know how they prepared things these days? I am a customer, not an employee. I know nothing of your business, only that due to your response I will not be returning, which I assume would be best for both of us especially now that I have actually eaten said cupcake. I've noticed your cake quality has drastically gone down, You guys cut costs and your dry cupcakes didn't even taste the same.

Started my journey researching online on where to go to fulfill such an intricate and specific wish for a little girl's birthday. She designed an "Elemental Dragon" which had representation from all: A water tail, a pair of wings to represent air, a breath of fire, and the body representing brimstone or earth. I came across le' Bakery Sensual on a whim but didn't immediately think the niche bakery would be interested. But it was their breadth of experience and numerous representations which really sold their abilities to me.

I confirmed the details online and did the order fulfillment in person. Every person from start to finish was great. They were friendly, enthusiastic, and grateful for the opportunity. The final product speaks for itself. I knew I was splurging on such an endeavor, but when I saw the details of what they had accomplished - this was well worth the money. My daughter's eyes and mouth were wide open and she said she'd remember this cake for the rest of her life. I think we all will.

As you can imagine, black frosting tastes exactly what you'd expect. But the cake, inside cream, and frosting were an absolute delight. It was an absolute success and the number of people who reached out to comment on it really helped cement this as a birthday for the memory book! THE WORST BAKERY EVER!! I ordered my daughter's 1st birthday cake, cupcake, and smash cake from this bakery. First I requested IN WRITE VIA E-MAIL WITH PICTURES that I wanted her three tier cake to be made with buttercream like that picture. The cake looked like the picture but it was made with fondant, which automatically upped the price he quoted me. Then the cupcakes which I requested to be have them pink came red, even after I called to make sure they would be pink. Then the worst part which ruined everything was I requested to have a ladybug cake for my daughters smash cake, I even sent a picture and said I WANT IT JUST LIKE THE PICTURE. THe owner goes "oh we will give you the smash cake for free" Great, I did NOT want a free cake I wanted the cake I sent a picture of. The smash cake was a small round white frosting cake that looked NOTHING like the pictures I sent. When I called in upset about the cakes when my husband brought them home THE OWNER GOT MAD AT ME!! He said he did his best and its NOT HIS FAULT I WAS UNHAPPY! He didnt even try to fix ANYTHING!! I was in tears crying how he ruined a big part of my daughters 1st birthday because it was important to me. The company did not do ANYTHING right and did NOT CARE AT all!
