I recently had the pleasure of hosting an event catered by Los Molinos Restaurant, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. As someone who values both quality food and attentive service, Los Molinos exceeded my expectations in every aspect.
From the moment I reached out to inquire about their catering services, the team was incredibly responsive and helpful. They took the time to understand my needs and preferences, offering a range of menu options that showcased their authentic Mexican cuisine. The flexibility they provided in customizing the menu was a breath of fresh air, allowing me to incorporate both traditional favorites and unique dishes that delighted my guests.
On the day of the event, the catering team arrived promptly, fully prepared and organized. Their professionalism was evident as they set up the buffet, ensuring everything was presented beautifully. The aromas wafting from the food were tantalizing, and I knew we were in for a treat.
Now, let's talk about the food! Los Molinos truly shines in this department. Each dish was bursting with flavor and made with fresh ingredients.
What impressed me even more was the attention to detail. They provided all the necessary utensils, plates, and napkins, which made my life so much easier. The staff was courteous and attentive throughout the event, ensuring that everything was running smoothly and that my guests were well taken care of.
Overall, my experience with Los Molinos Restaurant's catering was fantastic. They not only delivered delicious food but also provided a level of service that made the entire event enjoyable and stress-free. I received numerous compliments from my guests about the food, and many asked for the restaurant's information to plan their own events.

Read moreSo this restaurant is right next to the main campus building I go to fas an MSU Student. That makes it pretty convenient to grab a quick bite on my way into class in the morning. However, I’ve been twice in the last week, and both times they got my order wrong. They normally prepare their breakfast burritos with chile, but I can’t have anything spicy due to an allergy. The first time, I asked for a ham burrito with no chile. Got it a few minutes later, then got to the building next door, took two bites, and had to turn around and go back because theeee was chile in it… took them a few more minutes to prep it for me (don’t know why) but once it was fixed, the burrito was pretty good.
Went back a few days later, ordered two burritos: one ham, one sausage, both no chile. They made the ham one right this time, but made the sauce with chile (again), so once more it took several minutes to get my order corrected.
I’m a bit disappointed because the prices are pretty good for the size of burritos, but when I ask for the burrito to be made without one thing, I don’t know why it’s so hard for them to listen and do it correctly. I’m glad they fixed it and the food is of good quality and taste, but I had to rate it slightly lower because my order was prepared wrong both times I’ve gone so far. I will keep giving them opportunities and hope it does that better (if so, I’ll change the review), but right now these are my honest opinions...
Read moreThis place used to be really good but has gone downhill. I used to eat there twice a week getting a breakfast burrito before class. But recently every burrito is sopping wet and half the time didn't contain the meat I ordered. Also they used to be huge so it was a great value for students but now they're no bigger than a value menu burrito from Taco Bell. And since I'm rushing to class I don't have time to go back and fix it so it's easier just to stop going there all together. Also they're prices on the menu board are lower than what you're actually charged.
I guess they're not immune to being like all the other restaurants on campus that are becoming unreasonably expensive. It just sucks because it was one of the last few places on campus that...
