Snarf's Sandwiches — Restaurant in Denver

This is our favorite sandwich shop. The bread is so much better than most of the other places. Snarf's builds its sandwiches on baguettes that are fresh and crusty and rival the bread that I have had in Europe. My go-to orders are the Smoked Brisket w/ BBQ & Swiss Cheese or the Corned Beef and Swiss. Both served hot with a huge list of toppings to choose from like mayo, mustard, hot peppers, onions, lettuce, tomato, pickles, seasoning, oil, fat free mayo, sprouts and mushrooms. Most of the sandwich shops charge you for extras like that. It's pretty hard to build that perfect Dagwood sandwich if you're being nickled and dimed on the toppings.

One single time I got a sandwich that was a little weird. All the meat was on one side and there wasn't much meat on it. Since I had taken it home, I got a hold of manager Natalie and she offered me a credit for the next time I came in. I want to like this place because the food is good. But we waited over 30 minutes after ordering to get our food, with no communication on what was taking so long. The staff, when asked, seemed unconcerned. They said they got a big internet order that they were filling. That’s great but shouldn’t the people actually WAITING IN THE RESTAURANT have priority? They staff seems very “chill” and not particularly on the ball.

Update: Either because he saw my review that I posted while I was still in the store, or overheard our comments, the manager came over and apologized for the wait and the miscommunication, and he comped our food. So he did make it right. Snarf’s corporate marketing team also reached out to me to find out what had gone wrong. I had a horrible experience at this location today. Went in for lunch with some coworkers. They received their correct orders but I did not. When I brought it to the attention of the lady handing out the sandwiches she just looked at me with an attitude. I gave her my order and informed her I was seated out side. She did not ask me to wait inside or tell me not go any where. I kept looking inside for 20 minutes while my coworkers had their lunch to see if it was ready or sitting on the counter. Finally I went in to ask for my sandwich and was told that she forgot what toppings I had asked for so she put it off to the side. I would have appreciated if she had written down my order when I spoke to her about it being wrong or had told me not to go out side. I am very disappointed with the service I received.
