Overly priced, not impressive, and TERRIBLY unprofessional employees and owners. Save yourself the headache and go to literally any other bar.

The bartender ignored us multiple times. It took forever for us to receive our drinks and meals. The slushy, which is supposed to be the big hit was subpar in taste and quality. The only benefit is the location, it really is in a great location. Yet, that does not make up for the lackluster service and drinks.

If you cannot tell by the owners responses to the negative reviews, he is not one to take responsibility for his or his staffs actions. This is Denver, there are a ton of great bars with great bartenders and owners. Do your research and don’t go to Swanky’s!

EDITED*To the owner: I didn’t come in before a Rockies game, I came in at night the second week of May. I would appreciate if you didn’t group me in with what seems like a childish group to make my complaint not valid. Very unimpressed with your lack of ownership in this response. My review had to do with how the slushies are expensive for the quality that you get. I would love to talk to you over the phone if possible, because it seems like you would rather deflect any sort of blame for the situation. As you so clearly show in your uninformed response. I was in a group of TWO, me and my SO not a large group as you state and not even on that date. Sorry to disappoint you. Also, reviews are set up to review a place. I’m sorry you think that I’m trying to attack you personally, but really am just reviewing the poor service I was given. In now way am I out to get your “livelihood” as you state. Instead of being so defense on every single negative review you should work with your staff to be more attentive...

Discriminatory and Unprofessional Behavior

My recent visit to Swanky’s Vittles and Libations in Denver, Colorado, left me utterly disappointed and appalled. Late on a Sunday night, with only a handful of patrons, my friends and I had a terrible experience that I feel compelled to share.

We ordered food and drinks, and the service started off poorly when our server failed to bring one of my friends their drink despite being asked twice more. However, what followed was even worse. The server brought out our food and casually remarked, “he should get a little food in him first.” We were baffled because we had no idea why she made such a statement.

Upon further inquiry, she explained that her manager had suggested that my friend, who appeared intoxicated to them, should eat before receiving any alcoholic beverages. At this point, my friend, who happens to be blind, calmly explained, “I’m blind, and all you had to do was say something, and we could have explained the situation.”

Despite her apology, the server’s behavior was inexcusable. Discriminating against someone based on their appearance, especially without valid reason, is unacceptable. The excuses provided only compounded the issue, failing to make up for the blatant discrimination.

Finally, the manager came over and said, “we didn’t know,” to which we responded, “all you needed to say was that my friend appeared intoxicated, and we could have explained that he was blind.”

This incident reflects a severe lack of professionalism, communication, and understanding on the part of Swanky’s Vittles and Libations. I strongly discourage anyone from visiting an establishment that engages in such...

I recently visited the bar and had the pleasure of being served by Sav, a server who truly knows the art of hospitality. From the moment we sat down, Sav was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Despite the bar being quite busy, Sav made sure our drinks were served swiftly and exactly to our specifications.

The cocktails Sav recommended were absolutely delightful—each one crafted to perfection. It's rare to find someone so passionate about their work, and Sav's enthusiasm for ensuring guests have a great experience shone through in every interaction. Not only did Sav keep our glasses full, but also shared interesting tidbits about the drink ingredients and their origins, which greatly enhanced our evening.

Moreover, Sav's ability to manage multiple tables with a smile, ensuring everyone felt taken care of, was nothing short of impressive. It's servers like Sav who transform a simple night out into a memorable occasion.

For anyone considering a visit, let Sav's professional and warm service be the reason you walk through the doors. It's clear that Sav is a key asset to the bar, turning first-time guests into regulars. I'll definitely be back, looking forward to another fabulous evening with top-notch...

Came in right after having to outrun a tornado while running at Cherry Creek in Centennial to do the 3 Pound Grilled Cheese Challenge since I was running a marathon in Montana in a few days, had been on the road all day and needed a good place to begin my carb load. Grateful they let me do it as some places are a bit iffy and come up with excuses as to why I can't do their challenges, I got no resistance here, although the manager or owner (not sure what his role was) told me he gets a bit nervous when someone in shape like me comes in to do the challenge because only fit people seem to be able to beat it. I explained to him why that is the case - but I am certain other places deny my request to do their challenge for that reason! I was able to beat the challenge, and it was very enjoyable! The grilled cheese with the mac and cheese and curds was very tasty and the fries/tots were enjoyable instead of a sodium hell that other challenges with a lot of fried potatoes tend to involve. Although I did down a slice of their oreo cheese cake after to balance out the salt which was also good. Good service too. I still paid the $35 anyway - this place deserved it!

I have lived in Denver for 5 yrs and in that time frame I have been on the hunt for some really good wings. Not little baby wings. Not wings by the pound. I wanted a dozen wings that were full! If this is you, you have now found that place. Swankys is the top spot for wings! They are so flavorful with the best wing flavors. The staff is always super friendly and the place has tvs everywhere! Best place to watch all the sports! I had Savanna as my server and I can not say enough about her! She was so kind and friendly always asking if I needed anything. I love this place! Best wings in Denver!

This place is a Gem. Nice guy running the Bar. A Hotdog Rolled up in foil and a Coors $7. Best deal near the Ballpark. Even though the Dog wasn't Fancy,it was a Quarter Pound Fatty, and pretty tasty once you loaded it up with you Onions,Relish,Etc. I had such a good time,I almost blew the game off. Of course I had a $12 ticket, lol. Far better than that lame place called Belles and Boots a couple doors down that charges almost $7 for the Coors Draft alone. If you're a simple man like me, you'll love it here!
