What an experience where do I start!! First of all the bartender was rude to me and my friend in so many ways. He yelled at us as soon as we walked about mask even though him and two others did not have there’s on. Second he got an attitude with me about beer selection when every beer on his beer menu I asked for was not on menu. His excuse was the menu was pre Covid and owner needs to change it. My burger and tots was the best thing of the whole visit. Now let me get into the weird and sad part about this place. When we walked in I noticed a new born baby in a car seat sitting at bar next to a woman. Not longer after being here the woman kept asking me and my friend if we thought her baby was cute. Then she brought the baby to my friend and asked him to kiss the baby. Seriously people I can’t make this up. She shortly left to take baby in back to change her. While we where eaten she reappeared with baby but this time I was not paying attention to her. All of a sudden I herd a thump and felt something on the bar. The lady was back bouncing her baby and the thump was the baby’s head hitting the bar. Me and my buddy did not know how to receive this. She shortly left again because baby was crying. When the lady reappeared again her shirt was unbuttoned down to the last button because the lady was in back breastfeeding baby. She came back to bar and did not rebutton her shirt. The people around her where joking about breast milk with her. At this point we new it was time to go. There where more people coming in the bar and we really felt uncomfortable. This by far is one of the most uncomfortable weird bars I have ever been to. Whoever the owner is should fire that bartender for allowing this woman to drink at bar with baby present. Plus she was clearly over served. I would never and I mean never recommend this...
Read moreterrible drinks & service!! they do Not have a drink menu; no pricing listed anywhere (even on the QR code menu) Friend ordered a cran./vodka, when we asked bc it tasted like juice water, it was then revealed they dont even use vodka- they use a cheap 'liquor mix'?! All drinks were like this, but were 8-10$. So we each got +1shot to add to our drinks; making ea. drink 17$. When i got my hubby & I's, 1 had the shot, and 1 didnt (clearly tasted different, as anyone would expect). Unfortunately i didnt watch her make them. I just let it go, assuming she didnt hear me and just rang up 1+ shot. We shared both drinks, worked out fine. We only stayed ~20-30min, then got the bill: $60 for 3drinks & 1sm. fry basket; since we had to pay separately to get alcohol for our drinks. When i mentioned that 1 of our drinks didnt get the shot, she just said "you asked for [the +2 shots]". Unfortunately, even though I clearly knew she was lying, I had no way to prove that she only added 1shot to 1 of the drinks, unless her boss were to take a drink out of it (ofc wouldnt happen). Foods expensive, drinks are faux, pricing untransparant - just a money trap for tourists and holiday bar hopping. The staff are not interested in offering honest quality & growing regular clientele/loyal bar community like a lot of other great bars in Denver -...
Read moreMy husband and I’ve been wanting to try this place for awhile. We finally went on this Sunday. The bartender serving us was nice but new and didn’t know the drafts available. She didn’t know what they had at all in drafts or wine. They didn’t have any amber ales and she didn’t know the wine right away. So, we just ordered a Guinness. They weren’t checking on us for awhile and we were incredibly hungry, so we did go up to the bar and order food. We didn’t get our food for 25-30 minutes even though I just ordered chicken tacos and my husband ordered a side salad and a bowl of green chili. When we finally got our food the tacos were cold and tiny. The chicken was dry and kind of hard. And the soft corn taco shell was dry, stiff and cold. It’s supposed to come with avocado and I didn’t get that. The tortilla honestly almost tasted stale to me or something. The $6 side salad was just lettuce and a sprinkling of chopped tomatoes and a couple tiny red onions and was the tiniest side salad you will ever see. The chili was cold that the melted cheese had started to cool off and solidify on the top of the chili. We were honestly pretty disappointed- especially with the food. We ate it because were starving...
