Whiskey Bar — Restaurant in Denver

Whiskey Bar has a relaxed dive bar feel and is a nice contrast to many other bars in Downtown, with arcade games as a fun addition to a more a casual bar. While I’ve enjoyed my time here in the past, I won’t be back after my last experience. After dinner down the street, we came here around 9 before it was even busy. Right off the bat the bartender was extremely rude, snapping at us and rolling her eyes. She charged us different prices for the same exact drinks and acted like adding drinks to our tab was a huge inconvenience to her. When my friend came out of the bathroom the same bartender was saying some pretty rude things about us and that she “didn’t want to deal with us”. To clarify, we were not intoxicated, said please and thank you, and kept to ourselves in the connecting room. I’ve worked in the industry and while large groups like ours can be a lot to handle, I don’t think we deserved the treatment...

HORRIBLE service and very unfriendly. Wouldn't suggest to anyone unless you want to deal with rude bartenders that are to busy facebooking then serving they're customers. Went on a dead Thursday night. Had a tall skinny bartender with glasses. Not only was he rude and lazy but spent more time on his phone then doing his job. Couldnt give any suggestions which was a reason i went there. Being they have over 400 whiskeys its a little overwhelming. Bartender was very short and rude when I didn't know the exact whiskey I wanted in my old fashioned. Sad was excited to try some new whiskeys, cocktails and talk about whiskey. Instead felt like I was making the bartender mad because he had to do his job. Don't waste your time...

The bartender who opened today (with the tongue piercing) is extremely rude. A large group of my friends came to Whiskey Bar today for the Mizzou watch party. When I asked politely to change the MAIN TV to the Mizzou game, he BERATED ME because he wanted to watch hockey and how dare I ask to change a TV (the main one!) away from what he wanted to watch. He was incredibly unpleasant, rude, and completely brought the wrong energy for a watch party. He clearly didn’t want to be there. This is my second unpleasant experience with him, and I will not be coming back. Just completely unacceptable. I have literally never reviewed an establishment before for something like this.
