Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in Destin

Really pretty awful staff, with the singular exception of Charles, who I hope is a relative of the owner, because he certainly cares more about the place. Thursday May 14th, we went through the drive thru because of #COVID19 to treat my daughter to ice cream after a long day of errand running with mom, and despite huge markings everywhere stating they were open, and a girl who finally appeared only to hand motion that they were closed while texting whomever on her phone📱, we were one of three cars who ultimately drove off in disgust that they had once again closed well before the times published both on their website and on the door of the lobby. Sad. Why are they even there? No telling how much business they’re losing and Baskin Robbins corporation will certainly be notified directly. After all, I wouldn’t want MY name on this jersey, and in these difficult times, when few can justify extras like ice cream, I certainly wouldn’t expect them to want this either, but can easily see that the same brand awareness is not being carried out by the franchise at this particular location. Destin, FL has got to be a huge investment opportunity for a franchisee with any sense of pride and ownership in their operation and I’ve got to believe someone else would do a better job...

my girlfriend and i were on vacation in Destin and wanted to get some ice cream. We seen Baskin Robbins on our way in and it was less than half a mile away from our resort. So we walked in and started to order. I seen on the menu inside a Tropica Banana Smootie. Therefore, i told them that’s what i wanted and they acted like the had NO CLUE what it was or how to make it. another employee came and told her how to make it. the lady asked me what ice cream i wanted. i said vanilla because i didn’t think there was supposed to be ice cream in a smoothie but whatever. my girlfriend ordered 2 scoops of ice cream in a waffle cone. the same employee how didn’t know how to make the smoothie, TAKES THE CONE FROM THE DISPLAY THAT HAS PROBABLY BEEN SITTING THERE FOR 2 MONTHS, and begins scooping her ice cream and puts in into the cone. when we go to pay, the employee who didn’t know how to make the smoothie ( and is actually making my smoothie ) gets told by the employee checking us out, she should have used frozen yogurt vs vanilla ice cream. Therefore, i spent $15 on a messed up smoothie and a stale waffle cone. HORRIBLE SERVICE. DONT GO. TERRIBLE. RUDE AND...

I drove from Watercolor on a Friday night. The store hours in Googke states they are open until 10PM. I arrived at the store on the eve of my birthday to treat myself to my favorite ice cream, Baskin Robbins Rocky Road. When we arrived at 7:55 we saw there was a customer inside. When we approached the door, it was locked. The customer was still inside and look like he was ordering. When we knocked on the door, the worker told us they were closed. When we inquired why were the closed early, she said they were closed.

If I was the franchise owner, I'd be highly upset knowing that you had two customers at the door who were going to order ice cream and a cake.
