Very nice store, as far as cleanliness/organization goes. I also saw some truly amazing Winn-Dixie customer reward program deals, as well as items w/big markdown tags (they were close to expiring)! Was especially excited about the reward program, as most customer reward savings at many grocery stores aren't what they're cracked up to be.
Thought I'd go over to the...CUSTOMER SERVICE desk...to see about signing up for the reward program, as I don't like to hold up a line at a register inquiring about such things. It's called forward thinking/consideration. So I get to C.S. desk, and wait behind a man being taken care of. The female employee taking care of him obviously knew him and was all charm and smiles. I walked up to her after he left, and it was like someone threw a switch, and her 'brightness' turned off immediately. I guess she didn't like my looks? I kindly inquired about the rewards program sign-up, and she brusquely and dismissively told me to go to a register and they'd do it.
So, at the CUSTOMER SERVICE desk, where I was the only person present other than this CUSTOMER SERVICE employee? Apparently she just couldn't be bothered to access the terminal right in front of her and set me up, despite my patiently waiting in line, etc. Hmmm. HER idea of customer service and MINE differ a very great deal.

Read moreI received extremely poor customer service. I would be embarrassed if this was one of my employees. I called the customer service desk….I repeat.. the customer service desk… to ask what size extension cords they carry and she told me they don’t carry extension cords. I asked if she could please double check for me or transfer me to someone who could check for me because I was told they are on isle 10. She then got noticeably annoyed and said okay this may take a minute. I was grateful and happy to wait. I understand this is an unusual request for a windixie. Waited on hold for 10mins and then she answers again greeting me as if I was a new person calling. I said yeah I’m just waiting on hold because someone is checking on extension cords for me. She then yells I TOLD YOU THIS WOULD TAKE A MINUTE! I asked if I could have her name and then she immediately hung up on me. I called back and she picked up and then immediately hung up. To whomever works customer service desk on Thursday at 7pm 8/10/23… you should be embarrassed that you represent your company in that manner. Read moreWe had purchase some items and then went to the Customer Service Desk and the so called Manager Kimberly told us it would be a few minutes she is doing reports! Which she was just writing down the same numbers on a different column which she could have stopped greeted us & took care of our lottery ticket but left us standing there while employees come & to the back office. When a couple of more customers came to stand in line she called another employee to the desk to help & she waited on the other customer that came behind us first and the So called Manager Kimberly did not say anything about us being there first and came and unplugged her phone from charging at the lottery tickets & just left us standing there went to the back office! Did not apologize or say anything to us!!! Very Rude & Poor Customer Service! The employee that was called to the front final came and helped us but did not apologize for our wait or for taken the customer before us!!!! Not a Thank You or a Smile!!!
