My co-workers go here pretty often. I’ve been once before and wasn’t a fan at all of the pot pie soup. Not my favorite but I got a salad and fruit which was cool. Another co-worker had gotten some old soup which was chunky, but apparently taken care of by the restaurant. Recently last week, week of July 15th was the final time I’ll ever support this establishment. The cashier is a young lady who has her baby with her all the time. Usually we give her an extra tip, but this time in particular she didn’t get one because of her AWFUL attitude. As my co-worker was being checked out the young lady immediately became combative, reason unknown (could’ve been valid but completely unprofessional). She threw a bag at my colleague and told her to get out of her line. That young lady (i think she is the owner’s daughter) was insane to practice her customer service skills in that matter. She should not be representing this establishment in anyway shape or form. This is extremely ghetto and pretty typical on how businesses work here in the city of Detroit. Awful business, with OK food, not always fresh, and extremely...
Read moreWhile the food is really good, the staff is super unfriendly. Don't ask a question about a menu item because you will be met with an unfriendly face and an even more unfriendly answer. The young lady who makes the food never smiles and is really aggressive when answering questions. She does not seem happy to be there or happy to help. She does not make eye contact so it's hard to know exactly who she is speaking to; and if you do not answer right away she gets visibly upset--- make eye contact so I know you are speaking to me and can answer.... She was so mean to me that even though she made my sandwich incorrectly (and did not allow me to choose my bread as the menu states) I did not bring it to her attention because she was so mean. Even though I enjoyed the food I do not believe I will be back due to the service here. I am not sure what I did to offend the young lady working the food counter, however, I do not believe asking a question about removing bacon from a sandwich should result in her bad attitude. With different staff I would have given this...
Read moreStaff was rude when and had an attitude with me for no reason at all. I asked for a sandwgich and she said we dont make those. But i just had one from them earlier this year in spring. She said we havent made those in years. She called her manager, turns put they do make them. She had an attitude. But i never got an attitude with her. They made the sandwhich and even the cashier didnt even look at me, i said thank u to both ladies and they looked away. Another lady there aksed me if i needed help but she yelled it and was frowning like she was irtated. Unwelcoming vibe. Feels like ur in their way. Even when walking in, everyone looks miserable and tired like they prefer to be somewhere else which i think they should if they hate their job. I feel uncomfortable going there. The food is not bad, but not worth it for the attitude. I would suggest this...
