Daughter and I had the Kimchi Fries and the Birria tacos. Fries were very good. Not too spicy for my daughter but still enough spice for me to be happy. Birria tacos were good not great. Came with consomé and two salsas for dipping. The beef and cheese of the tacos were pretty bland so the dipping was a must. But when dipped it was good so overall I was happy with the food. The Dia de Muerto skulls painted on the walls were nice. Nothing else really was. Sealed plastic utensils. Menus were a QR code on your phone and text only. Would have been nice to see some images since it's just a website that could be updated at any time. All staff we interacted with were friendly but servers were out in front of the place smoking most of the time we were there and the host, who we paid check through, was pretty checked out and couldn't get the technology to work. Probably would have ignored any of that as a negative if the bill wasn't 20% more than advertised. Bill included required 20% gratuity which was undisclosed beforehand (not on website menu as I write this either). That's what I customarily tip so came out the same in the end but then there is a tip line on the bill as well. Doing both an undisclosed mandatory tip and a tip line on the bill is doubling down on the unethical behavior. And who knows if any of that actually goes to the staff since it's forced and part of the bill. Can't recommend. Bill was $61.50 for the shared fries, 3 tacos each, one coke, and the extra 20%.

They scored meh, then high, then low. First, they charge 18% gratuity when dining in; they have a sign that states this. We ordered chicken wings and they were delicious, the fry, glazes and sauce are great. We ordered birria tacos and a classic korean fried chicken sandwich. The birria tacos as a whole are fine. The consome is tasty but greasy and the meat was too dry and lacked the taste given by the consome. The chicken sandwhich was ok, but it got me tired after four bites. They placed the slaw and kimchi over the fried chicken, so that took away the crispness of the chicken within minutes. The gochujang slaw needed more tanginess and the kimchi was just ok. The bread got soggy way too fast, so I placed it over my fries. The fries were good! Regarding the service, it is lacking. The server was polite; unfortunately, she barely looked around to see the tables. At times there were three people on the pass chatting for a considerable span of time, I noticed this because I wanted to order and it took a while. Also, the place was quite empty because of the hour and it was a rainy day. All things considered I would go back to order chicken wings to go. It didn’t live up to my expectations of fusioning this two amazing cuisines.

Warning.....Long winded yet worthy review(yes, that good)!

Everything is good! You'll go back again! I'll go with you. 😀

Seriously.....starting from the front door....the host, the cleanliness, the wait staff, the bartenders, management, the drinks, THE FOOD. Parking available too. Meter, lot, and free 15 min spots.

I've been there 3 times now, with all 3 being different experiences. The first time I stopped in, I went alone and just wanted to check it out and drink a cold one. Although Im a craft draft kinda girl, the bartender Heather suggested I try a frozen cocktails from their big "slushee machines". They have a few flavors and I was impressed that they chop fresh fruit daily for them. It was absolutely delicious, refreshing, and did not lack the part that makes it an adult beverage. 😉😋 Although I was alone and it was my first time there, Heather, Audrey, and the conversation with the tables around me made me feel like I was a regular. Besides having such a lovely time, the smells and plates coming from the kitchen are what brought me back in for visit #2.

Visit #2 and this time I bring the boyfriend. Im excited about it because like most of us we're bored of rotating the same go-to places with similar tasting food. I had a good feeling about their unique Mexican-Asian fusion dishes and was hoping to win the boyfriend over with this new place. I did and it did NOT dissapoint! We sat at the bar and fortunately had Heather again. So glad we did because she suggested the birria grilled cheese, the wings(the sauces were sooo good), and kimchi fries. The two of us split that and washed it down with a IPA called Deschutes(highly recommend). During this trip we find out that they host a movie/dining experience event. You watch a movie of their choice and they serve the dishes that are being served in that movie. Sold.....let's book that and give it a 3rd go!

3 for 3!!! Oh my goodness guys! They out did themselves. As if the regular menu wasn't brag worthy enough, now we get to watch a movie, and enjoy a 5 course meal with signature cocktails in this fun, festive and well thought out decorated venue. This restaurant has it going on and they are thinking outside the box on food, drinks, and events. I wish I would have wrote down all of your names for this review. You guys truly outdid yourselves. We needed this night out. Something different. Something memorable and review worthy. Not only was everything delicious, but we enjoyed a new way to dine. Big thanks to the staff that was on time for absolutely everything. A few names I remember are Audrey, Heather, Tess, Chase, and THE CHEFS! See you next...

I am a HUGE fan of fusion food so when I heard about this place, I was so excited! But I was so disappointed with my overall experience. I spent over $100+ and ordered almost everything on the menu and everything was just so salty. The birria ramen noodles were so soggy and salty. The quesadilla was okay, it was also soggy and once again extremely salty. I also ordered the kimchi fries and the Korean fried chicken and they were okay (I've had better at other restaurants} but once again these were also salty. With that being said, I feel like if a restaurant lacks in the food department, then they should compensate with the atmosphere and the service but these were also lacking. For a restaurant mandating an 18% gratuity (regardless of how big your party is), I expect top notch service. Our waitress came and refilled our water once, and then proceeded to chitchat with her co-workers the rest of the time we were there. I understand that sometimes when its not busy, its okay to leisurely do things but truthfully, that gives more of a reason for her to check up on us multiple times because she's serving less tables.....very unprofessional and poor service for receiving an automatic 18% tip.

The cherry on top of all of this is how rude the management are responding to these reviews regarding the tip and overall negative feedback. Someone else also complained about how salty their food was and instead of apologizing, they said "we like our food flavorful, but it sounds like we might’ve hit your salt quota for the year. We’ll let the kitchen know to save some for the next guy." The constructive criticism is made so that you guys are aware but this back talk is very distasteful as a costumer. In addition, it seems like there is a common theme on everyone being upset about the mandated 18% gratuity ( rightfully so) and the explanation to this is to "make sure the team gets taken care of and ensures that their work is being rewarded"? At the end of the day that is the business's responsibility to make sure their employees are getting paid enough to compensate REGARDLESS if they receive a tip. That is not the consumers responsibility to be doing that. The mandated 18% gratuity just seems like a cop out to not paying your employees enough as well as they can give any type of service regardless if it was good or not and still be guaranteed a tip.

Overall, I was thinking of coming back another time to try because maybe I just got an overall salty batch of food but being met with the attitude from management and the mandated 18% gratuity is really off-putting. I will not be returning nor would I recommend...

Honestly friends and I decided to eat here for the first time. Soon as you walk in you’re greeted with a sign that says “18% gratitude automatically applied”, respect for trying to make sure workers are being compensated I first thought. You would assume with that gratitude service would be over and beyond type of an experience, things said otherwise.

We’ll start with negatives ❌ -

1st tables are quite small, I’m a pretty tall person and for a group of 4 it’s not the most comfortable experience eating.

2nd I understand in downtown it’s a little “higher end” but the prices do not match the quality of their food. I had high expectations but the quesabirra at most is worth 12$ not 18$, but too each of their own. Also agua fresca were just over priced majority of the drink it self was ice, it was good but would've been nice if it had more fluid than ice.

3rd honestly like I’ve mentioned you would assume you’d get spectacular service but far from it. Everyone kinda had a miserable look on their face, no smiling no greetings just unprofessional overall. Took about 15-20 minutes to get our food, my girlfriend food took an extra 10-15 minutes which was ridiculous. On top of that we were never asked for refills once. If you’re charging that much for that kind of service, re-train. Considering there was only 5-10 tables? At most so not very busy at all.

4th once we were ready to pay, waitress forgot boxes so my friend decided to just to leave it considering the amount of time this whole process was taking. It took 10 minutes to even grab the cards to pay. I understand people can have bad days but honestly it just felt like they could half as* their job because at the end of the day they’re not worried about the quality of their service to earn that gratitud.

Positive ✅ -

The way it’s designed and decorated probably the best part about this place. The music is great I enjoy that type of house/rap/edm music, very cool lighting in there so honestly that’s the best part about this place.

Overall I probably won’t stop here again, I guess it’s a cool experience but...
