LCH is my ultimate fine dining go to! Tonight was my third time visiting, and they still set the bar high!!! They called us in advance to make sure we were aware of their dress code! Their door coach, Dorian, was happily welcoming! The hostess who checked our coats in was personable! The jazz music and the slightly dim lightning created a nice relaxing ambiance!!! The food was soul shaking! Our hostess for the evening was Stephanie! Job well done, Stephanie!!! For our drinks, my boo bear ordered a margarita, which he said was "perfect", and I ordered a grenadine and sprite (a Shirley Temple), which was tasty. Our starter was the Slow Roasted Pork Belly (pork belly on drizzled tamarind syrup, coconut and ginger reduction, & topped with celery leaf and cinnamon carrots that resembled flakes). Our main entrees and sides were a la carte! So, I ordered the Double Cut Lamb Chops (lamb chops seasoned/cooked with tomato jam, sherry and pearl veal reduction, and fresh rosemary. Those lambs chops were so tender, it came right off the bone with my knife!! My boo bear ordered the 6 oz. filet mignon cooked medium! Deliciously seasoned to perfection! Our sides were the Brussel Sprouts with Bacon Sweet Potato and Maple, the Garlic Mashed Potatoes, and the Mahon Reserva Mac & Cheese! Looks definitely deceived us on the brussel sprouts, as we initially thought it was slightly burned. Boy were we wrong! They were flakey and a mouth full of life! Not a single crisp was burnt, but was bursting with flavor! The garlic mash were nice and smooth! The macaroni was a delicacy, as well! We ordered our desserts to go! I ordered the Double Chocolate Dome (A chocolate truffle filled chocolate dome with encrusted nuts at it's base, with a raspberry sauce, and shaved/rolled marbled chocolate). My boo bear ordered the Peach Cobbler Cheesecake. Now my boo bear hates cheesecake in general, but for some reason his love for peach cobbler led him to trying it! HE LOVED IT!!! London Chop House is fine dining in it's purest form! We will be back soon!

1 star for the poor steak. We ordered foie gras & wagyu steak, and bone-in ribeye. None of them taste that good: ——The wagyu steak is sadly burnt and the meat didn’t mixing well with Foie gras, I only can taste oil fat from the foie gras. ——It was a good quality ribeye but I would say the chef ruined it. Outside was burnt and the fat seems separated from the meat, which gives me a boring taste of the steak. I only finished 1/3 of it. 4 stars for the steak tartar. The tartar itself was a good mixture of sauce & chopped meat but the side bread, sadly burnt and hard to chew. 5 stars for the non-alcoholic strawberry cocktail, surprising taste and food pair for the savory food. 1 star for the dessert, the chocolate bomb has no different with what I can find in Costco, maybe Costco one taste even better. The strawberry you can clearly tell was dried out and not fresh at all. The Coconut Ice cream is mediocre, better than chocolate bomb. 1 star for the customer service. The host she was a sweetheart I love her, but for the server who served our table: We could not find her when we needed her & she seemed very unhappy when we asked question. She seemed desperate to leave since there was a table asking her to go there. Overall 1 star. I love the live performance ambience. but as a high end restaurant, the food taste itself (freshness, taste, quality) & customer service, I would say it’s not even reach the average level **** To the rude owner, please feel shame on your attitude and please pathetically serve the food to the poor customers. You guys should be the one taking care of yourself but not me :) You will be OK, LCH!!!👍👍👍 hope you beat Costco one day!

Wanted a change of pace in celebrating my husband's 50th birthday ... So instead of going to The Whitney , I made reservations for the "Properly Attired" The London Chop House . We were greeted with a smile by Darrell the Door Man and went downstairs to the cozy restaurant. We then were escorted to our table, a lovely quiet corner, all the staff saying Happy Birthday as we passed. They even wrote a little Happy 50th Birthday card for him. After a nice cocktail of a well-balanced Gin Collins, a Southern Belle Martini, and warm in-house made wheat baguette, we started with the Smoked Roasted Pork Belly - it set the tone of the whole evening; the appetizer was like butter. We followed it up with the Birthday Mr. having the Australian Double Cut Lamb Chops with a side of Bernaise and me with the 28-day Dry Aged Boneless Ribeye with a side of Au Poivre. Both were cooked in Garlic & Herb Butter. We shared the Roasted Brussels sprouts. I admit, I decided to go out on a limb because in NEVER had dry-aged steak before, and am not into gamey flavors. BOTH proteins were like the aforementioned pork belly - so silky, luxurious, and like butter. I think I cried on my first bite. I even tried the chops... I really liked it (and I don't like lamb in general). We finished with the their luscious version of Carrot Cake, complete with buttered bourbon sauce and sizzling carrots. Yes, folks, light airy Buttercream makes it all awesome. So happy to have had this culinary discovery. The Mr. was quite sated... And I was judged by a cat in a hoodie at the end of it all. TY, London Chop House for a most exquisite experience.

The evening kicked off with a bang, thanks to the awesome valet service and Dorian, the doorman with a voice that could light up the night. But here's the kicker the birthday request got lost in translation and ended up as an anniversary mixup. No card on the table (requested in the reservation) meant the birthday vibes took a hit, putting a damper on the celebration. Service was top notch, quick and efficient, but the drink scene had its highs and lows. The Mojito was a real winner, but the old fashioned, despite having the Laphroaig 10 in it, missed the mark in terms of flavor and the absence of luxardo cherries. Let's talk food! The chops, especially the dry aged ribeye and porterhouse, were stars perfectly cooked, bursting with flavor. The ribeye got a bit heavy on the salt, though. The soup flavor explosion, but a bit heavy-handed on the salt again. The sides Brussels sprouts were a knockout phenomenal flavor, the best I've had. As for the house fried potato, they were fine. Dessert, a chocolate ganache torte, didn't break new ground, but at least it had a cute little candle to keep the vibe alive. In a nutshell, the service and food were impressive, but the mix-up with the birthday request threw a curveball. To level up, paying closer attention to special reservations, refining the drinks further. Well I go out of my way and dine here for a special occasion again probably not.

Food = if you ever cooked a good steak in your life, you will always feel robbed going to a place that can't do it like you can and exactly how you want it. That being said, this place has good quality meat it's just hard for me to pay 100 plus for a steak. I can cook better at my house.. so if you're about that life, this place does just fine, but if you're like me, I'd rather heat up the grill even in the winter and do it myself.. I ordered the 14-ounce filet medium, and it came out rare. I didn't make a stink about it. I just ate it, but when I pay the price, I want it done perfectly. Service = was great even tho we came in with red wings jerseys on which there is a dress code. fyi, we were served and treated very well. Atmosphere = love the dark vibe and ambience however no music or anything was playing and you sit pretty close to people can be a bit awkward when your next to that super quiet couple that says nothing the entire meal. Need a bit louder music to drown out the library sound .. my reservation was 430, so maybe to early to put the music on ? End notes = I might return, but most likely not in my future. Really gotta blow my socks off to get me to come back these days. But I didn't hate. I gave them 4 stars to retain the prestigious reviews and quality meat options.
