Came in on their Wednesday Game Night, with my daughter( I believe they have a live Dj that starts at 9, but we left before that time). The staff was really friendly and inviting. Had fun playing the games provided, and the drinks were perfect! Great taste and strong! I recommend the Hurricane and my daughter enjoyed her mocktail made custom by the bartender based on her preferences :) Didn’t stay for food because it wasn’t a typical kid friendly restaurant although kids are indeed welcome. No kid menu for my daughter and it was very dimly lit inside. This place would be great for a date night, a meet up with friends or a place to stop by for a drink after work. I’ll definitely be returning to try out the food and give a better review

Excellent little place to grab a bite before a show or a drink and munchies afterwords. We tried a cocktail and a mocktail. Both were delicious and I actually think I preferred the latter. Got the mushroom dip and the jerk chowder as an appetizer. The chowder was phenomenal! Loved every second of it! Didn't get pictures of the burgers we ordered, because they were so tasty we devoured them without a second thought. I had the lamb burger and my partner had the mushroom Swiss. My burger, I loved the pineapple slaw on it and my partners burger tasted like mushroom gravy, so good! This place is fantastic if you're in Detroit and want a little dive to hang out at with your friends.

The Tocororo is the best restaurant in Detroit. It's located right off of I75 and super easy to get to. The service is fantastic, the bartender and chef are top notch class acts all around. The drinks are amazing. Connor the bartender makes amazing cocktails and is fast and fancy. The atmosphere is super chill with plenty of room to move about and mingle. They also do game nights on Wednesday. The food is amazing. We had curry fries and some pulled pork sliders, they were divine. I can't recommend Tocororo enough, if you live in southeast Michigan you owe it yourself and to Detroit to try this place out. You will NOT be disappointed. Highest Recommendation I can give.

Wow, where to start? It was such a pleasure eating somewhere that you can taste how much the chef enjoys what they do. A true master of their art. I ordered the jerk chicken legs. It was three huge legs with crispy skin and juicy meat. The jerk seasoning and sauce was incredible. So aromatic and flavorful that I can tell I'm going to be thinking about it for days. The Pineapple orange onion sauce on it was the perfect blend of spicy and sweet. My wife got the gorgonzola burger and was in awe. It certainly looked delicious with the pears on it. The fries that came with her burger were so well seasoned that I couldn't stop eating them. We shared the fall salad and that was delicious aswell. The mix of the pepitas, gorgonzola, cucumbers and greens with the Pineapple vinaigrette was so good. If you get the ranch instead of the Pineapple vinaigrette you should be ashamed. The cocktails my wife ordered were thoroughly enjoyed. Such a pleasant time that I had to write this review. I can still smell the sauce from those chicken legs on my fingers and I'm not even mad. Will be...

Love me a good hipster bar! They have the absolute kindest staff possible that are always quick to make you laugh. Connor is like the good ole fashioned, movie bartender, there to listen to your problems and turn that frown upside down in an instant! He's also great with making a crazy drink combo idea work! David in the kitchen is a total sweetheart. Unfortunately, he doesn't get up front much with how busy he is, creating his magnificent food concoctions. Just be careful with those curry fries, they don't have milk to cool your tongue down 😜 Overall, you can tell these two guys love the business they have built and the customers satisfaction is really important to them. I have simply never had better...
