If the food wasn't as good as it is, I'd only give them 1 star. After hearing all of my friends go on and on about how great Jersey Boys is, I was excited to try it. The first time I went in to grab some sandwiches to take home. It took over 20 minutes for two cold cut sandwiches to be made. Nobody else in front of me. 20 minutes for 2 cold cut sandwiches that cost almost $20.
The sandwiches were very tasty, so maybe they were just moving a little slow since was 8pm, I'll give them a second chance.
I tried again this weekend. I needed 3 sandwiches to go. This time it took almost 30 minutes, for 3 sandwiches. They weren't busy (at least judging by the number of employees standing around behind the counter & very few customers in the place). There was nobody in front of me again. When I approached the counter, I had to say hi to the person 3 times before they acknowledged that I was standing in front of them saying hi. They were busy talking to their coworkers to say hi back or acknowledge my presence. Maybe I wasn't loud enough or my attempt at making eye contact wasn't obvious enough the first two times...
After this last attempt, I'm gonna try the other sub shops around Dillon/Frisco. 30 minutes for 3 sandwiches when there might have been more employees than customers is unacceptable.
Bad customer service and overpriced sandwiches ($7-$10 for an 8 inch sub) has turned me away from Jersey Boys. I don't mind paying a higher price for tasty food, but when it comes with a bad customer service experience...TWICE...I'm done paying the extra few bucks.
I'll give the other local shops a chance to earn my business because Jersey boys isn't worth it right now. This is sad because their food is good, but the service sucks. If you can look past it, you'll most likely...
Read moreI normally wouldn't even give an establishment like this the time of day to write a review, but the manager/owner was such an inconsiderate piece of work, that I'm only writing this so he'll read it.
This Jersey jerk off decided to inform us, minutes after our order was made and paid that other customer's orders were more important than ours and that it would be an additional 30 minutes (wound up being more like 45) as we sat there and watched this guy put orders in front of ours. It must feel great to be "regular." It doesn't take 20 minutes to bake 2 paper thin calzones and a slice of pre-cooked pizza.
I ordered a $20 flattened calzone with overpriced, roasted peppers from a can and a slice of pizza with pepperoni that I ultimately refused. Our friend ordered a flattened calzone as well.
The two flattened calzones came out to the table well over 45 minutes and there was no slice of pizza. The calzones were laughable at best and certainly not worth the money or the pain of having to sit in that unoriginal and predictable establishment with uninspiring food and an unwelcoming atmosphere. This pony-tailed imbecile kept telling me it'd be two minutes for that slice of pizza that I had waited about an hour for; so, I told him to keep his pizza slice. He exclaimed, "I'm tryin' to feed ya!" Then, in a real show of class, this guy went into his pocket, pulled out a five dollar bill and placed it on the table, like I need his chump change or his opinion for that matter, considering he can't even complete a three item order, or read a ticket. This is to you, pony tail, guido guy: your restaurant is garbage...
Read moreSpent over 100$ in takeout from this establishment (food plus tip included) not only did our food arrive later than advised (wait was 1-1.5 hours) it took 2. I reached out to the manager to ask if the driver would come and take our meal back because it was luke warm.. the manager (Craig) debated with me about how it was just taken out of the oven. Mind you, why would I want to have an issue with our order after waiting two hours to eat..?! After refusing to do so to issue a refund, I asked for 50% of my order to be refunded. Coincidentally in the process of me writing this review he calls me back only to argue with me again about when the food was taken out of the oven. Then decided to insult me by saying "typical Texas attitude" ( I'm assuming he thinks I'm from Texas) then proceeded to hang up on me. I was refused a full refund after offering to return the food. And had to request to be compensated after our extended wait and cold food, after trying the cuisine, it's Nothing to rave about. We ordered dominos two days ago not only did they deliver in the snow storm but the food was better. Don't waste your money....
