On 08/08/2022 Approximately 8:00 p.m. I went to Zaxby's to pick up dinner, the line was wrapped around the building, so I decided I'll get my salads from Wendy's. I've been in customer service and the food industry for over 25 years, and I can honestly say that was the worst customer service ever provided, from "Adult" employees. There was a man who took our order, with his lack of understanding to two simple question, "When it says combo for a salad, what does that consist of?" He proceeded to tell me and I replied, "No, just give me the Strawberry salad" I didn't want the drink or fries He snaps back rudely and says "Then you don't want no COMBO THEN! As I scroll the menu, I asked him, "Do you have anything similar to a Cobb salad?" He replied to me in a nasty tone, "WE DONT HAVE THAT HERE, YOU ARE NOT AT CHICK-FIL-A." So, I ordered a #1 combo with a tea no ice. The older woman with short hair who took our money was pleasant, kind, and you can tell who respects, the people's decisions, who to chooses to dine with you.. When we get to the pick up window, you got two angry looking ADULT, who obviously irritated and taking it out on anyone they encounter, because when we pick up our food, I asked the lady, do you have 1000 island, she said "NOPE, we don't carry that." Then I asked her may I get a ranch? She said. "No, you can't you can only have what comes with your salad." The tea I got, taste like it may have had chemicals in it, and is NOT tea!! I'm taking it to the Engineering firm lab, where I work, (to see) what was in it. Our salad and Burger was good, the fries were cold. I'm not big on saying terminate people, because everyone needs a job. But, I would definitely seek into re-training the workers on their customer service skills.    Read moreFirst of all I really like wndyâs. The following is not the first time my experience has been this bad. It appears that the management lets the employees run things and when you question it they just walk off! I SAT at the speaker in the drive through for about 7 mins, I was not greeted, asked to wait or anything. I then proceeded to the pick up window where I asked if the the drive through was working or not. I was confronted by what I assume and yes I use that word loosely, was the order taker. Her response was and I quote âI was about to take your order and you drove offâ yes, yes I did! She proceeds to walk off and another young lady comes to the window and takes my order. Finally this young lady was very observant and actually acted like she cared about her customers. I ordered my two j.r bacon cheeseburgers and a large fry with extra cheese and no tomatoes. I was very surprised when it arrived in seconds and even thanked the young lady for her help and asked her for some condiments, she obliged and I was on my way. 15 mins. later when I arrive at my destination it is the all to familiar disappointment that has to come with the Wendyâs name!    Read moreThought I would celebrate National Cheeseburger Day with Wendyâs. Downloaded the app and went to the store on Fairburn Rd in Douglasville. Their scanner wouldnât work and the cashier said basically I was out of luck. I had another errand near the store on Douglas Blvd which is a beautiful remodel. The cashier was helpful with the offer for NCD and then I found typical Wendyâs issues. I needed water after a workout instead of soda. As usual, Freestyle machines donât work. Water was not available. As I looked for alternatives, most of your flavors were not available (happy I didnât pay for soda). Ketchup dispenser didnât work. I visit Wendyâs during travels once per month, and the vast majority of visits (75%), something in your stores is broken. The Coke Freestyle experiment may be worth calling a failure. I am sure I will go back next month and find the same broken items in this location. I am dumbfounded how you allow such poor maintenance, especially in your beautifully remodeled storesâŚyour customers deserve better.
Update and kudos to the manager on Douglas Blvd. I went back in a couple days later and the broken items were fixed. I spoke to her and expressed appreciation for getting it done. Other Wendyâs locations let this broken stuff linger, but...
