First off, everything about this restaurant is not bad. The food is great and the employees are nice mostly. I was not going to write a review because they handled the first issue nicely but.....
On 4/8/25, I ordered a large Bang Bang Shrimp. Food (taste) was great until i noticed a long piece of black hair. From my memory I was greeted that day by a women with a long black ponytail and no hairnet. I called and reported the matter to the manager (brown skin believed to be Indian guy). I was told to come back and they will refund my order. He took care of the issue with grace and humility and refunded everything (not the issue).
On 5/5/25, I brought my wife and children to the restaurant that takes care of their customers. Usually we'd go to Qdoba but they handled me with care last time we came back. I arrived around 8:30 P.M. I bought two bowls and two quesadillas. Two different employees were helping with my order. there were two young ladies who ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp just like me behind me. We paid and received our food. My family lives in the Milford area about 30 minutes away. The restaurant closes at 9:00 P.M. I get home and get my family settled to eat. I remove my bowl lid and to my surprise there is no shrimp (not the issue).
On 5/6/25, I call to report the issue. I am told to come in and they'll make another bowl for me. I give the same man (brown skin believed to be Indian guy) my name. He looks at me and says this "Oh there has to be some kind of coincidence with this being the second time." Then he went on to explain how he is going to help me this time but not a third. I explain to him who the employees were that helped and how his male employee closed the lid before the shrimp was put in. He defends his employee by stating that "there is a process and the lid would have never been closed before the shrimp was added." He also stated that if the shrimp was not put in the bowl then it would be somewhere around there lying around. I kindly did not argue, I just explained that I had pictures of my food and no reason to lie.
A coincidence is only a coincidence when you continue to support. If I didn't bring you my business there would be no chance of a coincidence so just make my food right, I will not be returning to this restaurant. They are also light on what goes in the bowl and charge for more than one...
Read moreGot take-out here today. I have gotten food here before and the service along with the food was better, but today it was horrible. I came in there before 11:30 and waited ten minutes to be a acknowledged and waited on with no other customers in the store to begin with! I asked for pineapple salsa with one order and I never received it. To me they seem not organized and when they get a lot of customers, you always get pushed aside and they rush you along to move you out the way as fast as they can. The steak in my order which you pay more for in a quesadilla was nothing more but completely fat grissel and barely any decent meat that was edible! With spending nearly $50 on my order, I am extremely upset with the lack of quality food and service I received today!🤬 UPDATED* I hate these generic replies from establishment like yours that give a weak response to serious issues that I know will never get fixed, but will only get worse over time and the saddest thing is that your restaurant hasn't even been opened that long for your food and service to be this terrible! I will not be dining in this establishment again!! After eating your terrible bang bang shrimp that tasted like frozen fried trash that was overcooked. I truly feel the food here is not prepared correctly, some employees have no idea how to prepare items, and the customer service sucks when they get a crowd of people, they rush you along like cattle so they can make more money and then mess your order up while asking you if you want more items when they don't check to make sure what you paid for is the...
Read moreI went here to try to support Dover business but I was highly disappointed. Food portions were terrible (LESS than half a cup of rice for the bowls, 4 pieces of chicken, but a ton of beans). I could see the brown on the bottom of the bowl (would never be the case with Chipotle or Qdoba). This is absolutely not better than Qdoba or Chipotle. Manager or owner was yelling at the staff and you could tell the staff was very uncomfortable while he was around. Every time the staff working the line would pick up a scooper to provide food, he would be over their shoulder staring to ensure they put only one small scoop.
When we first arrived, we were asked if we wanted a small or large bowl (I would 100% suggest if you still want to try, get a small) the bowl sizes looked identical, just different shapes. Unfortunately, I don't think I will ever return here. For $8.99, I can spend an additional $2-3 at Chipotle or Qdoba and...
