It was my first time ever going to crumble & this experience I had a few days ago made me nvr wanna go back at least to this location. Me & my brother ordered in the store and waited 15 mins in our car & came back the screen said we were from 13th up to 4th in line we asked the guy how does it work he said to not rely on it cuz it donât work. So we waited outside. A guy came outside like 10-15 mins later saying they were out of cookies & only had 2 left. Mind you it was a lot of ppl waiting to order outside and lots of them in. But we waited since we already waited so long. They didnât run out of ingredients they just needed to bake more we understood. We still wait outside the kind guy is apologizing to us as we wait. The staff inside only seemed to be handling mobile orders which was weird. So we asked if we could go inside because atp itâs been 50 mins since we ordered. We go inside & wait. One of the staff was staring us down & started talkin about us to other staff around him and they kept staring us down and laughing at us. A black female (pretty, hair in a ponytail, and lashes) came up to us asked wat we was waiting on I proceed to tell her we ordered in the store before they ran out of cookies and wat the name was under. She proceeds to walk away & not tell nobody else or come back to us. At this point we are getting irritated because it has been over an hour but we are trying to be patient as we also work in the food/drink industry & arenât trying to come off rude or rushing. So after another 20 mins we had to flag down this small nice white girl and ask if she can check on our order. She said she mightâve already called it out which wasnât the case because we were there the whole time when they called out orders and none was under the name we put. She goes to handle it and it turns out sb decided to click off our name and so nb saw our order and it was prob when they ran out of cookies. This whole thing took over an hour and about 30 mins for only 6 cookies. Worst part was it was cold cookies we received. Only such part of the staff was nice the others were either unbothered or rude. When I kept seeing them stare and laugh at me and my brother cuz ig that dude had sum against him I rlly wanted to say take a pic n make it last longer cuz every time I looked up they just staring in disgust n laughin for what idk cuz we were standing there n doin our things on our phones n tryna pay attention waiting for our name to call out. Didnât even wanna go back for a remake or nun cuz it wouldâve took long and quite honestly felt like sb would spit in it or do sum to it if we complained. It was a Monday I understand new launches & busy but it doesnât take much for kindness. I really hope that kind male (who was maybe Hispanic im not sure I didnât get to learn their names so I can only go off descriptions but was def wearing a gray hoodie and was short) who was outside is treated great as he handled everything so well and was really kind. And thank you to the very short white girl who actually took care of our order. But I feel & hope they could do better & honestly feel like I could get even better service in Philly (that isnât rlly a good thing sadly). I donât want refunds/makeovers atp but wanted to share me & my brothers...
Read moreFirst off, I love this place but this location in Dover is racist IMO. I came in tonight, meanwhile Iâm visiting. I had to wait for like 7-10 minutes to place an order. During my waiting period, I asked someone can they take my order and they said âwait a minuteâ with a nasty tone. Then the one Spanish girl looked at me, which she wasnât doing nothing at all could have taken my order. I know times can be hectic when the demand is high but the customer service was really bad and if you were a customer there you could see there was clearly a customer service issue on their part. All I wanted was a cookie and to feel like Iâm the problem is a hard pill to swallow. I then said something for the 2nd time if someone can take my order and the Spanish girl gave me a smart remark like I was in the wrong. She finally came and place my order and she placed my order wrong. She clearly needs training or get a new job if you donât want to service people of color. I kid you not, another Spanish lady came in and she took her order within a snap. I told the dude who gave me the wrong cookie that I didnât order that and he tried to tell me I did with an attitude. Again, I never experience blatant racism in a cookie shop in my life. I will not support this location EVER again! After seeing this review, I hope both employees fix their attitudes in dealing with people of color bc next time they their feelings...
Read moreâïž One Star for Crumbl Cookie in Dover, Delaware â Hype Train Derailed! Oh, Crumbl Cookie in Dover, Delaware, youâve got everyone hyped up, but this place was a major letdown! đȘ The whole townâs buzzing about Crumbl like itâs cookie nirvana, probably because itâs a big-name franchise with drool-worthy cookie pics all over social media. But let me tell you, this spot is way overrated, and Iâm here to spill the tea!
Walking in, I was ready for a treat, but yikesâthe place was a mess! The floors were gross, sticky, and covered in who-knows-what. The counters? Buried in cookie crumbs and random smudges. And the ordering screens? Smothered in fingerprints and grime so bad I wanted to drown my hands in sanitizer just for looking at them. I could see the kitchen area from where I stood, and letâs just say it didnât exactly scream âclean.â It was nasty, and I was already regretting my life choices.
Then, the final straw: I bit into my cookie and found⊠a HAIR! 𩳠Hair in food is my ultimate nope, and this was an instant dealbreaker. The cookie tasted like raw dough with a side of disappointment, and Iâm honestly shocked more people arenât talking about this. Crumblâs lost me for goodâI wouldnât go back for a million bucks! Save your cash, skip the hype, and steer clear of this Dover dud. đ«
