My wife and i were so excited to learn that this restaurant was open. We can only find food like this when we travel out of state. Paras has quality Mediterranean/Middle Eastern style food, and the portions and prices are great! We're going to make this a weekly stop if we can. I had the lamb patter, and my wife had the chicken. We both had the white sauce, but I also tried the green and red sauce on the side. If you like jalapeño level best then try the green. If you like habañero or hotter then try the red. I'll go with green sauce next time. If your kids are shy on trying new things then I suggest the gyro, and tell them it's a giant soft taco. That's how we're going to pitch out to our child when we return. The service pleasant and quick. We waited only a few minutes for our food because we were second in line and many take orders were ahead of us. They have bottle drinks rather than a soda fountain, but their selection is good (new fruit-flavored teas for us) and same or cheaper than a convenience store. I highly recommend this place. Read moreA delicious dive into Mediterranean/Middle Eastern cuisine! I ordered the Chicken Gyro with Everything on it and a side of Masala Fries. The Gyro was fantastic! The different flavors that pop out in every bite from heat from the spicy red sauce to freshness from the cucumber, getting everything on it will be my GoTo every time. The Masala Fries simply complimented the meal with being a fluffy and crispy add-on plus an additional layer of heat to the meal.
The Atmosphere from the time you walk in to when you walk out was splendid! The workers behind the counter take the time, while the meal is being prepared, to engage in conversation like to friends who hadn’t seen each other in a long time. All the while the food is being prepped at a fast pace. The average wait time from order to hand is maybe 5-10mins MAX! You couldn’t ask for faster service than that it’s perfect.
If I’m ever in the mood for a gyro, Paras Grill is where you’ll...
Read moreFirst time here. Good choice for dinner. Fish gyro was loaded with more then expected. With a full 8oz or so fillet that was lightly breaded and fried. Not sure if it was tilapia or catfish. Covered in a mixture of red onion, lettuce, corn, pickles, chick peas, jalapeno and white sauce. All the vegetables fresh and crunchy. Definitely not your usual Greek ,Egyptian or Lebanese fare. Delicious all the same. A bit off Rt. 13 so I am sure they don't get the amount of business they deserve. Friendly staff that was patient and quick with our order. Now added to our favorites list for a...
