I think I am finally done with this place. This used to be one of our favorite restaurants. We have always had a fair sized order ($100-$300) and we've always tipped at least 20% and often more. Especially since Covid arrived, we have been ordering to pick up instead of dining in. We used to order with Tony and he would graciously fulfill our requests for mango "milkshakes" instead of lassies and extra "red, green, and brown dipping sauce". Tonight, however, I called in for our slightly smaller order and the man taking my order was abrupt and talked over me, missed items I ordered even after I repeated when he talked over me, and insisted he knew what I was requesting when I asked for mango drinks with just milk instead of the lassies (we ended up with lassies). The order was just under $90 due to the mistakes (it should have been a little more) and I tipped $20 (not more because he was rude on the phone). Now to the food: we all ordered (and received) lamb korma, plus 2 orders of vegetable pecora, spicy garlic naan, and the mango drinks. We had requested spicy korma and there wasn't even a hint of heat in any of ours, the lamb had a toothpaste texture from cooking too long, the pecora was very dry and some of them were burned, and of course, we had yogurt drinks that we wouldn't have ordered if we knew they wouldn't make them without yogurt. The pecora came with about 10 ml (2 teaspoons) of each of red and green sauce-- nowhere near enough for the amount of pecora, especially with how dry it was.
My one concession is that we ordered at about 715 pm and they are posted to close at 930pm, but if you can't manage to prepare dishes until then, maybe you shouldn't stay open till then. I'm incredibly disappointed because we really liked that food, but, there are recipes online and other...
Read moreTheir vast menu makes your experience unforgettable! My husband and I were lucky cause we didn't know where to start, but there was another couple sitting next to us who were just finishing and making conversation realized they were "regulars" (as I called them, lol) so they gave us tips on what to order and their choices couldn't be any more spot on! We had....I can't recall names but here's the specs: we started with cheakpeas and Indian bread, for main course ordered the chicken with curry coconut sauce and the rice with shrimp chicken and lamb. Oh! And we had rainbow naan bread which is sweet, I had never had it and I loved it. I think it could even be a dessert with vanilla ice cream on top! But it worked really good bringing down the spiciness from the food. The yogurt mango drink is soooo good. The portions are a good amount, I mean...you eat there you have left overs for another meal at home and then some...😅😅 In general...we definitely had a 5 stars experience, the waiter ROCKS, hard working little dude!!! And the owner is super approachable!!! Definitely gonna have to go back to keep trying all this marvelous wonders!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 P.S.: You go figure, my hubby grabbed a menu so that I could place the dishes names cause he knows I was gonna get home and post something...lol... He loves me!! 😍😍😂😂 Therefore I add a picture of the whole menu as well. 😊 (Prices might change over time) Have a...
Read moreMy wife and I like this place. It is decent food.
The last time we went wasn't quite as good as previous visits, for reasons listed below.
We started with the onion bhujia. It was good, but looked to be a bit overcooked and dark. (see photo)
My wife had the chicken zafrani. It was nice.
I asked for the chicken vindaloo. Here is how it is described on menu: Chicken Vindaloo (Hot) Diced chicken with potatoes in a sharply spiced gravy.
The waiter (owner as well?) asked how spicy I wanted it. My wife replied for me and said "spicy".
When it came out, it had good flavor, but barely any spice. I was definitely disappointed, and mentioned it to waiter/owner. Maybe I was profiled for being white?
The rice, as always, was great.
We will definitely return.

They still don't add a lot of spice to the chicken vindaloo if they ask you if you want it spicy. But for the most part, everything still tastes good. I would not recommend the coconut naan as the desiccated coconut in it really...
