STAY AWAY FOR YOUR SANITY
Was here 2 weeks ago. The family opted for Mc Donald's the world largest. I decided that I wanted a whopper. So I jay walked across busy International Boulevard to get food. McDonald's was packed and full of energy hustle/ hustle. I was the only person at Burger King. That should have been a clue to the service that I was about to encounter. I was welcome by a dark skinned Hispanic girl, around 30 years old . I asked for the burger specials that was plastered on the board at $8.49. The girl behind the counter asked medium or large, I said whichever one that's the price on the picture works. She retorts we are out of that size. She proceeds to ring up what I assume the med total over $10. That didn't sit well for me as I have years experience as restaurants manager, at first I declined and started to leaveas ai turned to leave I then decided to go ahead and get the food so I paid the up charges. I received a cup for my soda , went to drink machine coke and 2 other soda flavors were out. So I went to counter to inform lady/ girl behind the counter and she fills it behind counter. As she fills the cup , she and the cook starts to speak in Spanish to the tune of the situation at the counter between the girl and me . One of the 2 said I was broke in Spanish. I've managed a Chilis location in the past where I've had an entire Hispanic kitchen staff, I'm not fluent in Spanish but know enough for simple conversations, and I m an African American middle aged fellow. I interrupted their little conversation and informed them that I personally have plenty of $ in the bank but that's none of there business. I do understand what you are saying in English. They both looked like a deer looking in headlights. They immediately stopped the conversation. I was the only person in that place the whole 10-15 minutes that I ordered and I saw 1 car.come through the drive through. I immediately identified why they had no business. Impolite ride ass employees , as I identified the woman taking the order was the manager dark skinned Hispanic so I didn't even bother to ask for one as she had on the manager uniform. I would think that these people would treat their guests a little more kind and make them feel welcomed to drive sales and guests to there location. I ran back across the street to the car and my family was still in the packed McDonald's and I waited for another 20 minutes for them to exit with their food. So I thought maybe Burger King staff should be trained by McDonald's staff and maybe 🤔 🤔 they can do more than 2 guests per 15 minutes. And the food was disappointing. I ended getting McDonald's also. So the broke guy pretty much gave charity to the empty Burger King restaurant. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BURGER KING !!!!!!! save your patience and sanity as dealing with the family at the Disney and Universal parks is busy enough...who needs to PAY for...
Read moreI am utterly dismayed and compelled to share my recent appalling experience at the Burger King managed by Yadira. My visit, which should have been a quick stop for a fast meal, turned into a prolonged ordeal due to the manager’s gross mishandling of the situation.
Yadira, completely overwhelmed by an Uber Delivery order, instructed the new trainee, Malik, not to take any more orders. This decision led to a significant delay for customers in the restaurant, including myself, an elderly couple, and a family. We were left waiting for over 10 minutes - an eternity in a fast-food context. While I understand the pressure of a large order, the essence of fast food is efficiency and customer service, both of which were glaringly absent.
Furthermore, Yadira’s behavior towards Malik was unprofessional. Yelling at an employee, especially one in training, is not only poor management but also creates a hostile environment for both staff and customers.
The climax of this unfortunate experience was when I voiced my dissatisfaction. Instead of handling the situation with the professionalism expected of a manager, Yadira flatly refused to take my order, stating she had the right to deny service. This decision led to the departure of the other waiting customers, all of us united in our disbelief at such unethical conduct in a customer-focused business.
This incident raises serious concerns about the management at this Burger King location. Fast food might not be the healthiest option, but its appeal lies in its speed and convenience, both of which were absent under Yadira’s management.
Response Needed: I urge Burger King’s corporate office to address this matter promptly. Customers deserve respectful treatment and efficient service, regardless of how busy the store is. What actions will Burger King take to ensure that such incidents do not recur, and customer satisfaction remains a priority? This experience has significantly tarnished the reputation of your brand in our community, and immediate corrective action is necessary to restore faith in your commitment to customer service.

Read moreHorrible experience at this Burger King location, the only thing I would recommend of this location is to avoid it! Arrived to the drive thru, with my pregnant daughter who had just finished her lab work, at 10:20 to be stuck in the line (behind just 3 cars) for 12 minutes. When our turn finally came at the window at 10:32, we were told breakfast ended at 10:30 despite being in line before the time for breakfast to discontinue. We couldn't understand the woman at the mic who started raising her voice at us, so we went to the window to try to explain the situation with her. She said that it didn't matter and breakfast was over, we asked for the number for corporate and she said she wouldn't give it to us and slammed the window. We motioned for her to come back to the window and asked for the store number (because we were just going to look up the corporate number ourselves) and she mumbled, then started closing the window on us again. We weren't able to catch the number and asked her to provide it to us along with her name as she tried shutting the window on us again. She said she was not going to give it to us and shut the window on us. I went inside to get the store number, after the employee refused to open the window to us, and she called the police on me and said that I must "leave her store and was not giving it to me" after I waited in line to ask her for her name and store number again. I asked the other employee, Hugo, who was there and she told him not to answer me, so he said he didn't know the store number or her name and then ignore me. During my wait, another customer came in and ordered a breakfast item and was served it. I have never been so disrespected, especially when trying to simply do things by the book. I would not recommend anyone to visit this location, especially considering that this person identified herself as a manager and if a manager would behave in such a manner, I could only imagine what the standard she sets is. I reported the matter to corporate and await...
