May 2025 We waiting for about 35 minutes before being seated. The server was friendly but she had a lot of tables an was not able to take as much time with us on our order. After being sat we waited for about 10 minutes before she was able to get to our table to just get a drink order. After she took our order we had to wait about 20 minutes for the food to come out which is normal no issue there. It just seemed like everything was very understaffed for the day, we did not see a manager the whole time we were there. I will also point out the new location is busier than the last which I will say is good but the location is much much smaller. It was also very warm inside which did not make the wait any better. The food was okay seemed a little rushed in the prep and plating. Over all the the food was as expected in taste and what was provided and the server did a great job for all that she was doing. BUT the new location needs some help with staffing and atmosphere compared to the old location. Person came out of the kitchen assuming cook, with hair out of there hat and hat on backwards.
Update: 7.25 5:30pm Returned: still no air small fans around the dining room, created a lot unessary noise. Still warm inside. No wait for table. Only one server for the whole dinning room (total of 6 tables including ours). Food still not prepared correctly and it was to leave off items so it should have been less prepare. Order chicken strips sandwich with no sauce sauce came on sandwich and on the side. Sever confirmed order when entering it into the device at the table and still came out wrong. 2nd time it came out chicken tenders were very well done. No manager came to ask about the food or anything at that point either. I think it's time for some changes several months moving to a new location you figure by now they would get things together. I will not be returning. And it's sad because we use to go to the old location...
Read moreRedefines Family Breakfast
Our family has a long-standing tradition of weekend breakfast at our favorite local diner, but a whim led us to try the newly opened Perkins this morning – and what a delightful surprise it was! From the moment we stepped inside, the ambiance struck a perfect balance: elegant enough to feel like a treat, yet still warm and welcoming for a family outing.
I opted for the Steak, Cheese, and Eggs, and it was truly a standout dish. The steak, cooked precisely to my requested medium-rare, was incredibly juicy and flavorful – a far cry from the often-overcooked offerings at similar price points. The accompanying house hash potatoes were nothing short of amazing, with a perfect crisp exterior and a soft, savory interior. My family also raved about the French toast, describing it as wonderfully fluffy and light.
Beyond the exceptional food, the service was impeccable. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring our coffee cups were always full and anticipating our needs with a genuine smile.
This level of service elevated the entire dining experience. What truly impressed us was that despite the luxurious taste of the food and the refined atmosphere, the pricing remained surprisingly affordable – very much in line with our usual family diner. Perkins has managed to achieve that rare feat of offering an upscale experience without breaking the bank.
While we've been loyal to our usual breakfast spot for years, our experience at this new location has been so overwhelmingly positive that this may very well become our new regular. If you're looking for a breakfast that feels like a special occasion without the hefty price tag, I highly recommend, You won't be...
Read moreWhen we arrived we were the only people in the restaurant, we waited a moment for someone to seat us and we were seated in a nice booth table. The restaurant is beautiful, but I don’t believe the AC was working properly because they had a bunch of blower fans around the restaurant, although it felt comfortable. The service was great our waiter was very prompt, he did an amazing job. The mozzarella sticks were amazing as well as the garlic bread, we had those as appetizers. The wife and kids each got the 7 for $7 breakfast and they were pleased with their food. I ordered the Perkins classic club, it was not so great. The bread was some sort of Multigrain bread which was fine, the lemon garlic aioli spread was not bad, but the rest of the sandwich wasn’t prepared correctly and wasn’t good. The Turkey was so thick and soooo cold it made the sandwich taste funny and seemed wet. The turkey and ham were stacked right on top of each other, a CLUB sandwich should have bread in the middle in between the meats, it is three pieces of bread total. I even confirmed this by looking at the picture of the club sandwich on Perkins own website next to the item description. I did get a slice of my favorite French silk pie to take home and it was perfect, just like when I was a kid and my mom would take me to Perkins. Overall I’m very happy to see this new location, I wish they would fix up the old one, only for pure nostalgia. Love Perkins been going...
