I gave a 2 star rating because of the customer service from 2 of the waitress and on duty manager today. My husband and I enjoyed the food and environment three days ago, so we decided to return today for lunch around 2pm this afternoon. We're on a mini vacation so we just came to Orlando for relaxation and to enjoy good food. The food is great and I love the sweet ice tea. As we entered, we noticed there was unhappy customer's that had just entered before us. They was complaining about the rude waitress with the red hair weave. We asked the hostess too make sure we don't get her because we noticed she had an attitude problem. As we was seated outside, there was another customer seated at the bar, enjoying his drinks and cigar. He was a witness to the rude customer service that was shown to the other guest. He began to ask for a manager because it wasn't right. It took forever for a manager to come out, once he did. That was a lost cause and waste of time. He didn't say anything that a manager should say to try and make the guest feel welcomed. The older guy from the bar suggested that the rude waitress should at least come and apologize to the people, which she was standing there the entire time with a smirk on her face. She then rolled her eyes and said "NO," she wasn't apologizing for nothing and proceeded to walk away. The manager stood there and said nothing. As business owners my husband and I couldn't believe it. The older guy then asked for the GM name and number. Not sure if he ever got it because the staff called the cops on the older guy saying he had a knife and was causing a disturbance. Cops arrived and didn't find out what the problem was first before pulling out a taser and telling the 75yr old guy to get on the ground and put his hands behind his back. We see enough of this already. I then got up and went to speak with the manager myself. If this how you all treat customer's who ask for the gm information then I would no longer spend our hard earned money there. After giving our statements to the cops once they realized what was going on, they apologized to the older guy and took the cuffs off. If the GM reads these reviews, I would love for a contact number or email where someone superior can be reached. I would also like to point out that there was 2 young ladies that had great customer service and apologized for the craziness. You should hire more like Jayden and I can't remember the other young lady name but she have black wavy/curly hair, a hoop nose ring and tattoo behind her hear. Those 2 had very great customer service.

We had never heard of the place before, but it was local to Universal, and we heard they had good boils at great prices so figured we would give it a whirl. Conveniently located on International Boulevard in a small strip mall, parking was easy in a common lot. Plenty of handicapped parking spaces, and the inside as well as the outdoor dining areas were both easily accessible as well. We were seated in a booth. The table was not attached to the wall, which is important to us as we need to accommodate certain body types that are not always booth-friendly. The server, Mike, was quick and courteous as well as friendly and informative. He was very attentive to our needs and was very upfront about upcharges and which drinks and foods were included in certain special deals featured by the establishment that evening- no surprises and no sneak charges- very happy about the transparency. He was also super cordial and easily engaged in off-topic conversations, which is another special touch that means a lot to us- especially when we are traveling away from home. The drinks were made quickly. The Juicy Margarita was way better than some local competitors. Mike was able to answer all of our questions about the food, which arrived quick and hot! We had mozzarella sticks, two combo boils, a chicken finger basket, and hot wings. Everyone enjoyed everything- excellent fare. When we were ready to finish up, Mike was super efficient about getting our check together, but also made it clear we were not being rushed at all- another thing we like when we are on vacay. Prices were MORE than fair for the amount of food we ordered. All in all, this was a great experience. Read moreGiving this restaurant 1-star is generous. We had a party of 8, but we were unable to eat here. The manager whose name was given as Dee Dee has EXTREMELY poor customer service! My daughter has a shellfish allergy, but we were coming with a group. The restaurant was called prior to visiting and DeeDee stated that they could accommodate her allergy and cook her food separately. When we got to the restaurant, my sister spoke with the manager to let him know that we had arrived. He was very rude to her during what turned into a 5 minute conversation. He made her very upset and she returned to the table flustered. Therefore, I went to speak with him for clarity. Dee Dee was sitting in a chair near the desk on his cell phone. He stated that he can’t say if the shellfish allergy can be accommodated “because [he’s] not the one cooking the food.” I clarified what he said. He confirmed it. I’m lieu of going back and forth with him, I simply told him that we were going to leave. He said “ok” and got back on his phone. Prior to leaving, one of the staff members asked what was wrong. I explained the issue and was informed that the manager Dee Dee is the one who can communicate with the kitchen as they don’t speak English. One of the other staff who could speak English also stated that it would’ve been easy for Dee Dee to just tell the ONE cook to fix the food separately. We opted not to eat here due to the rude manager. Per another recommendation, we went to Mr. and Mrs. Crab 15 minutes away. We received great customer service starting with the phone call.
