We were staying on International Drive. We went out one night for a drink, saw the sign for the Lucky Leprechaun so we decided to pop in for one drink, 4 drinks later we left. Alex introduced himself and welcomed us to the most Irish none Irish bar on International Drive, made us chuckle. We sat at the bar and participated in YouTube Jukebox with two other patrons, Ryan and another guy(sorry can't remember your name). We all took it in turns picking out random songs, such fun. Out of all the bars we visited we were made to feel so welcome and by the end of the night it felt like we were regulars. It was also nice to find a place with very decent priced drinks, we drank Shocktop and Harp, can't fault the drinks. We had every intention to visit again during our vacation just never found the time. Until next...
Read moreMy husband and I were in Orlando just for vacation, and we happened to stay at a hotel just down the road from The Lucky Leprechaun. Can you believe that on a Friday night in Orlando, this was the only place open until 2AM in the area? We showed up around midnight, and the atmosphere exceeded our expectations. We sure love a good dive bar, and this was no smoke-easy, either! Alex, the owner, is just a great guy. He was letting every patron pick music to play, and we went around the room, having a great time listening to everyone's old favorites, and new jams. He even let us order a pizza to the bar, when there was no place else open to eat. My husband and I closed the place down, but we made sure to stop by again in the morning before we headed out of town. If we were locals, this would definitely be a...
Read moreWe went here to watch the Dublin GAA game on Sunday morning. Wasn't on when we arrived but the owner Alex set us up on a big TV near the pool table when we got there. Beers are cheap compared to other spots in the area. Food menu is super simple but crinkle cut fries and toasted sambos hit the spot after a couple of beers watching the game. One thing I really appreciated was they weren't trying to rip you off for simple food. The other so called "Irish" bar that's close is charging crazy money for awful food. Super welcoming to the 5 kids that were with us too! Colouring books brought out and every effort made to accommodate us. This is a 5 star review based on the overall experience. Would highly recommend to watch a game. Definitely worth the short walk off International drive...
