We were excited to try Salsa Leedos but came away very disappointed. The service was about average. It was slow but also very busy so we understood. The waitstaff was very friendly but never offered us refills, they didn’t offer us straws, and when they brought the bill back with my credit card they didn’t include a pen to sign or add a tip.
The food was disappointing. The chips were good as well as the salsa. The tamale was bland, in particular the masa. It was in desperate need of salt or something to give it more flavor. The Cabo chicken soup had good flavor but was near room temperature. The fajitas were a miss. The steak was cooked about five minutes past well done and not flavorful. The chicken was cooked well but also lacked flavor as well as the vegetables. We could have used a salt shaker at the table.
