My family & I are regulars here, particularly because there is a little car/train/toy area for my toddler. It's one of the few places in town that I can enjoy a decent and relatively uninterrupted lunch. I've had several things on their menu, both from their taco lounge menu and regular breakfast/lunch menu. You order at the counter and they take the food right out to you. Service is SO fast; this is a huge + when you have kids with you.
Their breakfast menu on a whole is so-so in flavor, but large and filling. I have to do douse their breakfast burritos with salsa and salt to boost the flavor. Most everything on their taco menu is tasty and large portioned, but don't expect anything super authentic; after all, we ARE in Dublin. I do like the fact they have a salsa bar with chips they fry in-house.
Their salads are pretty good, particularly their strawberry fields salad (mixed greens with pear vinagrette, strawberries, feta, toasted almonds, & teriyaki chicken). Their sandwiches are also good and usually served with either a choice of caesar/spring salad or cup of the soup of the day. I like their chicken pesto, but they have other richer sandwich choices like andouille sausage sandwich, linguisa sandwich, and french dip. The other sandwiches on their menu are pretty standard.
Love their awesome pastry case. I purchase 1/2 a dozen to a dozen cookies plus pastries every week for my sugar fix. Their cookies are large, thick, moist, and delicious (albiet, not cheap at $1.99/cookie). My absolute faves are their cranberry white chocolate chip, snickerdoodles, double chocolate orgasm, and peanut butter. Other pastries I love are their giant cinnamon rolls (the size of my toddler's head), apricot turnovers, chocolate croissants, and strawberry cream cheese croissants. If you come for nothing else, definitely come for the sweets; they have a ton of samples to try on top of...
Read moreLike they said third times the charm how this place has failed me. If you are a pork eater good for you, but i stop eating pork along time ago. Online stated chicken option the reality they never have any option for such and over priced food guess if you change anything from what is one the menu you will have a horrible experience. What made me irate is that they are quick to charge my card knowing they don't have all their ingredients as it stated online. I am done with this place, customer service was and is very horrible. Seems like they are pretending to care about people, if you are in your uniform yeah they will treat you little better, but that should not be the case for quality customer service. I should not have to be in my military uniform for them to have better customer service or treat me better as a customer. Denica's have clearly showed me as a person and a soldier that money is the goal and nothing else. After charging me then tells me it will take few days to get my money back even though i never received anything from them wow who does that, thanks but no thanks. I tried to be patience this is why I waited until for my third experience with this location and place before placing this review. Sad but I will take my money to places that treat all people fairly and equally no matter uniformed or not, and willing to have options that can meet the needs of their customers as they stated in written format. Again I went to this place because the review stated great but that is very misleading when we are talking about food and certain diet choices and food restrictions. Again no more, I gave you many opportunity to change, and your not going to because your all about the money and...
Read moreThe prices have skyrocketed over the last couple years but that seems to be true everywhere. That being said they really do have attention to detail and culinary craftsmanship going for them. Plenty of instagrammable food here.
Edit: Today was a good experience. They have added a bunch of outdoor seating which is nice. The big daddy breakfast burrito was very tasty and fresh. The real hilight of the breakfast though was the lavender white chocolate mocha. I had never heard of such a thing and I was curious. Turns out it's mind blowing. Maybe you don't care for lavender. I wasn't sure but I absolutely loved the drink and it's so different from anything I can remember trying.
We have had good experiences and bad here... Well not as much bad as just not great. It is extremely crowded on weekends during the brunch hours and people seem to get a little cranky waiting for places to sit and eat their food. That isn't really the fault of the establishment but with their popularity they may want to consider expanding or moving or finding a way to provide more seating. The food... I have had a cinnamon roll recently that was fantastic but I have also ordered the exact same cinnamon roll and it was dry and crusty. I think it may come down to how early you get there. If you get there early enough perhaps the food is more fresh. My lady enjoys the breakfast burritos and I recently tried the "California Benedict" (Eggs benedict with avacado) and I thought it was pretty good. Oh and the parking lot is way too small for their popularity as well. I have seen some really aggravated parking...
