Mimi's Chocolates — Restaurant in Dublin

I’ve been coming here for a while, but today I had to write a review.

I come here with my daughter because it’s her favorite place and I don’t blame her, this is some of the best chocolate I’ve ever had! (And when I say favorite place, I mean she waves and says “Hi Mimi” when we drive by 😂)

Anyway, so the other night I had a date coming over and I remembered she said she really liked chocolate, so I rushed to Mimi’s but I got there too late! I was so bummed out! However they saw me waving my arms frantically outside and opened up for me! Let me tell you, best move ever, my date will not stop talking about how amazing the chocolate was and how fancy the glitter chocolate strawberries were, it was a HUGE success! I found this cozy friendly chocolate sweets store in Google so I gave it a try since it was Valentine's Day eve. There were so many choices of chocolate covered sweets. Bought up most of the white chocolate sweets and a couple of pints of ice cream (a nice pleasant surprise as an extra creamy treat). The chocolate sweets were all so scrumptious. The texture of the sweet were just right. Soooo good! Couldn't have enough of them. Also met the nice lady baker who helped me. She was very nice and explained all the sweets. She baked them right in the store and just right! Love it when they make it themselves! Nothing better than that. Will be back for more of Mimi's Chocolates. Can't wait for...

I’m sooooooo glad I discovered this hidden gem just off the freeway and Dublin Blvd on the storefront level of Tralee apartments. The sweets are freshly hand crafted, the ice creams are amazing and the family of women who make it happen are so welcoming. I’m a chocolate addict, and Mimis is my new go-to for friends, family, special occasions…and those days when nothing will cheer you up except a home-made dark chocolate covered caramel, strawberry, tart apple…and I had my first taste of chocolate dipped bacon!
