I do not normally write any reviews but the "lovely" gentleman behind the counter had some extra ordinary customer skills that I feel the need to express. Ordered a cake for a three year olds birthday, cut into it to find it was a regular cake not an ice cream cake. Not a huge deal, call cold stone to let them know of the mistake, at first the person on the phone was a tad argumentative but then apologized and said they would take care of it. The next day I bring the 3/4 of a sheet cake in for them to see I wasn't just being a tool, to have the ass behind the counter say "I made that cake I know I put ice cream in it". To say the least this comment threw me for a loop. Then he proceeds to inspect the cake and tells me that "underneath the frosting is where the ice cream is". At this point I'm counting back from 100 in my head to try and calm down enough to give him a response that does not tear into his personal life. I avail and respond with "it has little to no ice cream and it is not right so I would like my $53 dollars back please". He reluctantly gives in and then says I cannot do that because I do not know how to pull your order up in the computer. Bah!!!! "Whatever put it on a gift card and I will order from a different location next time". Not a "im sorry", "I apologize", "it will not happen again", nothing!!! Read moreI usually don't right reviews but I wasn't happy with my experience. My girlfriend had never been to a Coldstone so I brought her there after we ate. She was excited but when we went to open the door they were already locked 15 minutes early. Luckily someone was walking out as we were about to go in and they said they were busy in there. As we got into line we got the ugliest looks from the girls behind the counter. They were whispering to each other, rolling their eyes, and glaring at us. Read moreHonestly, this place was gross. When we walked in, the scooper brushed back her hair with her gloves on, before proceeding to scoop our ice cream. She used the same hand and same glove to take our credit card payment and touch the computer to check us out. Then the same glove for the next customers. So nasty! The glass counter tops were covered in ice cream spill and look like they hadn’t been cleaned all day, and the tables were covered in melted ice cream. I guess if get Covid this week, I’ll know why!
