Update!!! 6/21/25 I am back!! And good changes have been made at Duluth's Texas Roadhouse for celiac friendly food! Quick seating even though it was just hours after Grandma's Marathon concluded. Peggy Sue was our fantastic server tonight, introducing us to the QR code for their allergen menu. She was careful to ask us if we had any questions. A manager stopped by to say a hello at some point. We appreciated the service today and gluten free & other allergen assistance. Today we tried & enjoyed: Strawberry Cucumber Fizz drink - refreshing Gluten free foods: *8oz sirloin w/baked potato *Full rack of ribs + baked potato & sweet potato Note: there is a Celiac "button" in kitchen for my order so all precautions are taken to not have cross contamination. From a couple years ago: Gluten Free menu was limited but good, not ceiliac recommended as my skin was reacting to wheat in the establishment. Food was good! I had: sweet potato and butter, shrimp with sides of sauteed mushrooms and green beans. Friendly staff & excellent cooks. Takeout window available through an outside window, very efficient and clever. Quite crowded as is a popular place to eat, just didn't feel like the cleanest of places as table & seat were sticky. Rolls on the table are awesome for most eating here, but tough on wheat allergies. Sad for me. But I had zero reaction to wheat contamination in food. Was filling and delicious.

We have only ate at this location twice now. I understand everyone has bad days or off days and things happen. Today's experience was not the best. As I was eating my salad underneath some of the lettuce was a dead fly. Needless to say I was grossed out. I pointed it out to the waitress. I was offered another salad but passed. The manager came by said he would take the salad off my bill and gave me a coupon for a free appetizer. Our waitress and the manager were both nice. Then I get the main course my steak and baked potatoe.. Steak was good but my potatoe was hard because it wasn't cooked all the way. It did not taste good. So needless to say I was very hungry not long after because I just got to eat my lil steak. Had we not been pressed for time I would have waited for another one. Just disappointed with our experience. We eat at many different locations because we travel for my husband's job. Texas Roadhouse is 1 of our favorite places to eat. My husband always orders a 3rd meal for his lunch to go so it is very expensive. Just expected a bigger discount considering I only got to eat 1/3 of my meal. My husband's salad wasn't great either he ate about half of it.

We went here twice in a row both after the Duluth Airshow, and I would say the wait time to get a table is surprisingly quick. On a Saturday, after the airshow with a big crowd lined up, we were seated roughly after 20ish minutes. On a Sunday, after the airshow again we were seated right away. Huge shout out to our servers especially Amanda who was really quick in taking our orders and making sure we have everything we want and need. We had fried pickles as appetizer and from someone who doesn’t eat pickles, it was actually delicious!! The following day, we ordered tater skins didn’t disappoint either, and OMG was served after couple of minutes ordering, even our server was surprisingly shocked Ofcourse I had NY strip, the first day was a lot better than the scene day, the second day was kinda dry a bit but nothing to complain about still delish. My husband’s portabello mushroom chicken is impressive!! They have a wide variety of kid’s menu as well which is really great!

Unless you enjoy an MASSIVE amount of monosodium glutamate poured all over your steak, this is a warning for anyone allergic to it. I wish I had been warned…..I had such a severe reaction after eating four bites of steak with mushrooms that my dinner wound up consisting of chewed up Benadryl as my son watched me shaking from head to toe from the reaction. no, I did not ask about MSG usage because we’ve eaten here two other times… But not the steak! His meal was ruined because it was so greasy, but my allergic reaction obviously over shadowed it and I wound up having to pay for his meal anyway. I was offered a replacement steak with no seasoning at all and was given a fresh hot flavorless steak That was so tough I couldn’t even get the fork into it. The staff was very nice, but I will never be back because I no longer trust any of your food and just The thought of that horrible night is nothing but stressful. I should’ve gotten a full refund for the entire meal plus I just wanted to go home instead of doing the other things we planned on doing. My entire gastrointestinal system has been unwell ever since and I haven’t slept well in three days. I have never had such a severe reaction to Food in my entire life and I know that small amounts of MSG are in most food at restaurants (which hardly effects me) so that tells me Texas roadhouse uses a huge huge HUGE amount and needs to have a warning out there for people like me. I’ll never be back To hear that horrible music blaring,...

Not often do I do a lower review but it was a little tough when we started with a table of 9 and 2 bread baskets with a total of 8 rolls. So we had that very awkward moment where nobody would take the last 3. We requested more but the waitress stated she would bring more (5 min later) We called ahead due to so many people in our group and the manager did accommodate but we asked if prime rib was being served as that’s what 5 out of 9 people wanted. We specifically went there and not another location specifically for prime rib. We got there and were seated within 5 min. That was nice but a lack of bread (we all come here for that, let’s be real) then were told no prime rib was being served. I’ve never experienced that at the Shakopee MN location or the north metro location. So that was disappointing. We will go somewhere else to try next time we go north as too many great options up here to be that disappointed. If you’re not a prime rib snob like our family, this is a ok place but I would step it up with communication to people calling in advance and checking to not serve something that is on the menu and was stated that product was being served. I didn’t take any pictures which is a rarity but I just didn’t want to be more negative if I didn’t have to be. The bill was over $300 and we have higher...
