I updated my original review. The original review is below the updated post. There are pictures from the original order as well as the most recent order.
After the company reached out to me, I contacted the manager on duty and told them about my experience. The manager was very nice and offered to remake the order and send it back out. The order was delivered in a very timely manner. When I opened the boxes, I was glad to see that the major issues had been resolved. There were no issues with sauce distribution , there wasn’t any standing water on my pizza, and the stuffed cheesy bread had much more cheese instead of having large end pieces with nothing but dough. I do want to mention that while the pizza and cheesy bread aesthetically looked more appealing than the original order, it wasn’t as much of an improvement as I thought it would be. For example, the cheesy bread was still greasier than what I’ve had from other Domino’s locations as well as similar items from competitors. With that being said, the stuffed cheesy bread tasted substantially better than the original order and the pizza tasted better too. While nobody wants to go through the process of having their order messed up, I really do appreciate their willingness to take responsibility and fix the mistake. Some places wouldn’t have even bothered. I changed the rating to a 4 based on service, but it would just be a 3.5 if it were strictly based on the food.
Original review The delivery time was good and on par with the order tracker on their website. However, the food just wasn’t good. We ordered a pan pizza and some stuffed cheesy bread. Sauce distribution was very inconsistent. It looked very unappetizing like it was just thrown together. The pizza looked as if someone had dunked it in a tub of water. I don’t know what that was about, but I certainly never asked for a pizza with little puddles of standing water on it. I was too cheap to not eat it after paying nearly $20 for it, so I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, the disappointment did not end there. The crust actually tasted okay, but that was about it. The rest of the pizza tasted undercooked, and the ham tasted super cheap (which I think wouldn’t have been as noticeable had the pizza been cooked longer). The stuffed cheesy bread was a major disappointment as well. While the pizza could have cooked for longer, the cheesy bread looked like it spent a little too long in the oven! The top was a little burnt, and the big pieces on the end were nothing but dough! To make matters worse, it was sitting on top of a puddle of grease! I expect better quality than that, and I will not be giving my business to this location again. The folks at the Woodland location do a very nice job and I’ve never had any issues there, so I would recommend going...
Read moreAbsolute WORST dominos store around! The people working and delivery driving are disrespectful and mean! I ordered some bread bites and signed up for the text messages to know when and where my order would be here. When I got a text saying my driver was on the way i went and stood outside waiting. After 25 minutes waiting i call to see what's going on since the store is literally 5blocks away. It rings then goes to " full mailbox" and disconnects my call, twice! I finally get a text saying my driver is pulling up but NO one showed up. Still standing out front i get a text saying order cancelled. Very mad at this point i call again and get the voicemail and hung up on again. Second try a guy answers that apparently was my driver and he says i didnt answer my phone so he cancelled my order! He never called my phone, not to mention he never showed up! He argued with me that he did and that they no longer have their vehicles marked as dominos and they no longer get out of their cars unless someone answers the phone! Again he never called me! He refused to bring me my order and now my daughter and i have to do something else for dinner. About a week ago i had a similar situation with dominos. Ill be calling coorprate in the morning. but last week this was my problem. Ordered a medium cheese, got a medium peporoni and sausage. I called to tell them and ended up getting the guy that delivered my pizza who answered the phone. He told me he was sorry and he would get the new pizza made and delivered right away. 45 minutes go by so I call. Strange thing is after about 1 minute listening to elevator music it says mailbox full try again later. After hanging up and calling 7 more times getting the same outcome, I try calling off my house phone, which says "we are not accepting calls at this time". Frustrated I give my cell phone another try and a lady answers. When I tell her whats going on she has NO Idea about any of it. So after 45 minutes of waiting for the RIGHT pizza I find out it was never made. To top it off the guy that delivered my first pizza, who's also the one that said he would fix it-told the lady that he gave me the right pizza so he didnt make a new one! I TOLD HER I HAVE THE WHOLE PIZZA SITTING INFRONT OF ME TO PROVE IT! Told her I won't eat sausage or peporoni and I couldn't believe that guy! I tipped him and everything! Worst experience ever and that delivery driver...
Read moreI ordered online for carside pick up. It took me like 4 times filling out and refilling out my order online because it kept crashing when I tried to pay. I know this isn't this location's fault but the fault of corporate/whoever made the app but I feel like it's relevant to my experience.
I arrive at the store, check in on the app to have the pizza brought out to my car. It says it is ready. I wait over 5 minutes and decide they aren't bringing it out, so I head inside.
Inside I tell them I ordered online and it says my order is ready. They tell me it is still in the oven. OK. I wait
While I wait I hear one employee swear at another a bunch because he made a pizza wrong, while a manager tells them to behave themselves in front of customers. Apparently the pizza wasn't THAT wrong though because it looks like they sent it out.
I continue waiting.
Another customer who there before I got there is getting impatient. Their order is still not ready. They try to get an employees attention for awhile before FINALLY one notices. They want a refund. They are being persuaded to just wait for their order longer.
My order was marked "ready" at 5:30. It is now 5:55. I do not have my pizza. Finally I go to the counter to get an update. Turns out my pizza is ready now, and sitting there. Even though I checked in before no one felt it necessary to tell me it was finished at some point. I guess I would supposed to watch them pull out each pizza and ask if each one is mine?
So after waiting almost a half an hour after my pizza is marked "ready" I bring home my now actually ready pizza. I put it on the table. It was not cut. They did not cut my pizza at all. Thank goodness I own a pizza cutter.
Mercifully, the warming lamps at the store did their job. It is still an ok temp. After I cut it, it tastes ok. Not worth the hassle though.
I check back in on the app to leave feedback with Domino's itself. The app will not let me leave feedback until my order is picked up. It does not believe I have picked up the pizza I have already eaten.
All in all a ridiculous...
